I love the way our games are set up against Patriots, Packers, Seahawks

When you look at where these games are being played, it really could not be set up any better for us.

Patriots: they come to us, very hard to win there.

Packers: Revenge game for us. No way we go up there and take another L after the way it happened last time.

Seahawks: average road team, and they won't have the opportunity to re-defend their house and ensure the nfl they won't be embarrassed twice at home.

This game whether we like to admit or not is predicated on human emotions. The players are no different then us (ok maybe a little more talented and rich) they all have the same emotions we do. I think revenge games are epic and can play to the team trying to earn revenges side. If I was told we get two of these games at home and 1 away, this is the exact way I would have drawn it up. I think we'll go 2-1 during those 3 games if we're healthy. If I had to pick a loss its at home vs NE because I see that being Brady's revenge game if they do lower his suspension

Yeah, there's absolutely no way a team that almost never loses at home...beats us on their turf

Since when is it very hard for opposing teams to win in ATT Stadium?

Going to Green Bay is never a good thing, especially in December.

I am down with Seattle playing on the road though :)

Actually, I think how those 3 games are scheduled puts us at a disadvantage.

We play NE after they're coming off a bye.

We play at GB the week after we play MNF at Washington. So they get back at about 4 AM on Tuesday, have a short week, then have to play the 2nd road game in a row, which teams lose at a clip of about 75%.

We play Seattle after they play the Thursday night game the week before, giving them a 10-rest before they play us.

How many other teams have to play against the three best teams from 2014? Is there anyone with as hard of schedule as us?

Beat me to it.

I'm not kidding, the first time I saw the schedule, this is what I saw....and I'm more often a glass half full guy.

The only real way to get revenge for the playoff loss at Green Bay would be to get an anonymous Cowboys fan (preferably one weighing 250 lbs or more) alone in a room with Dean Blandino for a few minutes. A win at Lambeau this December would be real nice. But it wouldn't begin to constitute revenge.

Yeah, the overall SOS doesn't look too bad, but we play 3-4 teams coming off byes or long weeks, and our short week scenarios are a bit brutal. From those perspectives, the NFL didn't do us any favors.

Patriots are coming off a bye week. 14 days to prepare.
Seattle is coming off a Thursday night game. 10 days to prepare.
I'd say they could set up a wee bit better.

The games against NE, Seattle, and GB will go a long way in helping me understand if the Cowboys have a team that can go all the way.

They don't necessarily have to win them all, however, they need to play well in each.

Right, not a revenge game in my mind. It is just another game on the schedule we need to play. I equate the game in GB this year like the one in Seattle last year. No one expected us to beat Seattle in Seattle. I think going into the season people think the same thing for us going back to GB.
Now December is a long way away, and much can and will happen by then. But for now this will be another step to the ultimate goal.

This is the year we quit worrying if we can beat these teams and start to know we will. We are taking that final step this year.

A Pats fan told me today that we were the one team he feared playing in the Super Bowl. I think other teams are starting to fear us.
Big, strong, and young. Now our D will take the step to be a punishing D with a physical presence. Our pass rush will be in the top half. At least.

CANT WAIT.

If we have the running game and balance we did last year I fear no one. If I said. NE coming off a bye doesn't scare me as BB likes to take away what you do best and if thats running then Romo will torch them. If it's passing vice versa.

My biggest fear still is not having that powerful intimidating back.

You are trying to start an argument right? I see the only way to stop GB is for the QB to only have one leg. Wait a minute, that's what happen last year and we lose. OK, forget that one. My next one is probably the best in we need ALL our BEST PLAYERS on the field uninjured. That and getting Hardy playing will give us a chance to win in GB. Last year we had a great offense and could not do it. This year we need a great defense to show up and that is how we we win the three games you mentioned.

Health and suspension reduced provided, we're going to have a top 8 defense

Cowboys are just going to beat the best this year, because they are going to be the best this year.
