I may be in the minority on this

But I WANT to play the Giants in the divisional round. Any competitor, who truly wants to prove they are the champion, wants to face the only opponent who has beat them. I would want to beat them so this way, if the Cowboys run the table and win the SB, no one can say a word about who we did, or didn't face.

Would the Lions, or Packers be a better match up? Sure, but it's not who I want to play. I hope the Giants win this weekend, and I hope Detroit loses. Either way, I know the Boys will be ready for whomever it is they have to play on the 15th. I'd just love to knock the Giants out of the playoffs the way they did the Cowboys in 2007.

At this point, I don't care.
I just want to get to the NFC Championship game for a shot at the Big Show.
I like our chances against either but a loss to the Giants would be devastating for this fan base and to some extent the team.
But it would be so rewarding to beat the Giants.
Regardless, bring on whomever and let's see what happens.

You might be in the minority, but you are not alone. I dont particularly care who they put in front of this team. I want them to mow them all down. Simple as that. I actually believe they will beat the Giants, and I think they can beat them by more than one score.

I do think winning SB 51 would be even sweeter if one of the victims was New York
:flagwave:
The cherry on top, so to speak..especially if it also included New England.

In the end, however they get there works for me.

I want the giants too, but beating Green Bay would be equally as satisfying for me. I loathe that team as much as the division opponents. I don't care how "nice" everyone says their fans are; i hate them. If we play them, i will be taking people's cheese hat off their head, and throwing it on the ground. I promise.

Makes me no difference if it is NY,GB or Det in divisional round. For the Cowboys to get to where they want you have to be able to beat good teams.

I don't care who the Cowboys play.

My only concern is that the injured players all return to 100%.

If you're truly great, you don't care who shows up next.

That just it. The Cowboys are far from great. At this point in time, there's not really a spits difference between them and 3-4 of the other teams.

I would love to play NY again but they are not getting out of GB. GB will beat them by 10+

Ya, and GB had 3 cb's leave the game vs Detroit. 2 taken to hospital. 1 with a neck injury, the other knee. The one with the knee injury is day to day. So I expect only the guy with the neck injury to be out. Just my guess.

I couldn't care less about "beating the best." I want our opponent in the divisional round to squeak through their game next week and get physically beaten up in the process and come in weakened. I won't root for injuries, but I want them to have a rash of drug suspensions, and a bunch of guys to get lost on the way to the stadium, and guys to misplace their helmets on the sideline. I want every possible advantage. And then I want to face Houston in the Super Bowl.

Yea, I'd like to revenge our 2007 season when we beat the Giants both times during the reagular season, but they ripped our hearts out in the first game of the playoffs at Texas stadium. They marginally beat us twice this season, it would be pure bliss to show them how it felt at ATT stadium.

I feel the same but its a risky wish because if they don't win, the loss will haunt me like "The Catch" has for the last 30+ years

Man, the stakes are high, Dallas needs to win to stave off some demons, its been too damn long, TOO DAMN LONG!
