I may be in the minority on this

If you're truly great, you don't care who shows up next.

That just it. The Cowboys are far from great. At this point in time, there's not really a spits difference between them and 3-4 of the other teams.

I guess only a SB team is considered great.

well then same could be said for the 3-4 teams they are far from great as well. However Dallas is sitting ahead of all of them.

Only team I don't want to play is the Lions. We have nothing to prove against them. Packers beat us in 2014, Giants beat us twice this year, and the Seahawks beat us Tony's first time in the playoffs. We own the Lions. It's boring.

I do think winning SB 51 would be even sweeter if one of the victims was New York
:flagwave:
The cherry on top, so to speak..especially if it also included New England.

In the end, however they get there works for me.
I really don't care who they beat either as long as they win 3 before losing 1.

We have unfinished business with GB and NY so either way it will be a sweet victory for the Cowboys.

But I WANT to play the Giants in the divisional round. Any competitor, who truly wants to prove they are the champion, wants to face the only opponent who has beat them. I would want to beat them so this way, if the Cowboys run the table and win the SB, no one can say a word about who we did, or didn't face.

Would the Lions, or Packers be a better match up? Sure, but it's not who I want to play. I hope the Giants win this weekend, and I hope Detroit loses. Either way, I know the Boys will be ready for whomever it is they have to play on the 15th. I'd just love to knock the Giants out of the playoffs the way they did the Cowboys in 2007.

I'll just take whomever we get and assume that our opponent will play well. I don't care who it is. I only care about winning.

I with you OP.
Let's go ahead and deal with the giants right now. I don't want this "Giants got our number" carrying into next year.
