I may be in the minority on this

My attitude is we have to beat the team in front of us. If we don't, we simply weren't good enough to advance.

I have no problem whatsoever with us playing the Giants. If we are incapable of beating them, I'd venture to say that there's likely a smattering of teams that could beat us as well. Give me the Giants and anyone else who stands in our way of getting where we'd like to go.

Plenty of good teams want the same things that the Cowboys do, consequently any team that we are assigned to play will surely be our opponent, like it or not. It's simply a luck of the draw affair whereby the winner goes on and loser goes home. Heck, I look at it this way -- would it be nearly as exciting the setup weren't as dramatic? I think not. ;)

A poster up thread ;we're not that great. Honestly we're not,yet but we will be.
I have watched teams slip in as the cards fall for them [Giants} and take home the glory.
We have some tough teams in from to us so I don't care. We have some real obstacles in front
of us and it's hard to get here. Just win baby.

There's no way the Giants would beat us 3 times in a row in the same season. In a season where no other team was able to beat us. It just wouldn't happen. Besides the pathetic Lions I want the Giants the most.

I think we can destroy them. Few teams can beat another three straight.

I'd rather play the Giants than the Pack right now, but doubt it happens.

So how many elite teams would the NFC have to not be pedestrian? 5 teams with over 10 wins. What, we need another team with 12-13 wins like the Cowboys?

Look at 2011. Heck, there are lots of years.

This year, practically every team has major flaws, outside of perhaps the Patriots, and even they are a 11-5 team many years.

The Cowboys defense looks better than it is because of the craptastic offenses that they've played.

It's just a really off year.

Why is everyone so scared of the Packers? We already beat them.... In Lambeau. Y'all are acting like they're the best team in the league. Guess what... They aren't.

I'll take the Browns in the divisional round and then the Browns again in the Championship and the Super Bowl.

But I WANT to play the Giants in the divisional round. Any competitor, who truly wants to prove they are the champion, wants to face the only opponent who has beat them. I would want to beat them so this way, if the Cowboys run the table and win the SB, no one can say a word about who we did, or didn't face.

Would the Lions, or Packers be a better match up? Sure, but it's not who I want to play. I hope the Giants win this weekend, and I hope Detroit loses. Either way, I know the Boys will be ready for whomever it is they have to play on the 15th. I'd just love to knock the Giants out of the playoffs the way they did the Cowboys in 2007.

I want to play them and beat them but they are the last team in the playoffs that I want to lose to. They just run their mouths so much!

So do I.

Not for revenge, but because I think they are trash
