Why is everybody assuming dude lied?

Is sounds a lot like jealousy, and bored/pathetic life's are typing away.

"yeah, I wasn't there and upset at life, so he is lying"

Even if he is, it's sad to call somebody out like that without proof. You want proof he was JG? You provide proof he wasn't with him

Burden of proof is always on the one making a claim not visa versa.

In this era of cell phones and you didn’t get a pic? You obviously were close enough to see he didn’t leave a tip and see that the food was comped. The lack of details makes the story poorly made up. Who was he with? Plus, you talked about the Cowboyszone? And he heard of it? lol yea ok.

To be fair, not every grown man gets all excited, and pulls on another mans meat when he sees him. Famous or not...that's groupie status.

A female? Ok...that's understandable getting excited over seeing a bad chick that's famous.

Why does he have to prove it? Why does he have to get called out on something nobody actually knows is true or not??

Not saying believe him, but to come out and say "hey you are lying. nuh uh!!! no way!!"

Comes off as elementary, when a kid who got to meet everybody's idol or someone who is famous, shares with the class, and everybody get's all uptight, and bent out of shape and starts throwing rocks at him and his story.

I don't know if the story is true and honestly I don't care either way. Much like unconfirmed rumors his story is unconfirmed. I make a habit to not believe every story posted on the zone. This place has a bad reputation for the make believe.

I just don't see the point in requiring proof that he saw JG at a restaraunt. It's a non-story whether true or not. Now if he said that JG gave him some inside info regarding the firing of Callahan or the signing of TO and Ocho Cino to jump start the offense, now that would require some sort of proof.

Well the story took at stab at Garrett's tipping ethics. The thread also brought attention to the OP. A few posters simply asked for more info and he has yet to provide more. You live your life believing everything you are told, I do not. I am done posting in this stupid thread. Lol

Well the lack of a pic does make it seem less authentic. You should've gotten a pic, dude. Even a stalker one. It takes two secs to take one. smh

That said, there's is a Third Base in the DFW area, so while the coaching staff may have been at Valley Ranch all weekend, it's not impossible to assume that they took a break here and there.

That may acceptable for you...but not for others.

Who said I believe everything I'm told? Lol that's a poor assumption on your part. It just doesn't matter that much to me whether he is telling the truth because it has no bearing on my life either way. Basically.... I just don't care, and I don't see why anyone else should.

Maybe. But common sense tells me different. Who was he with? Why would he not leave a tip? Does Garrett strike anyone as the type of person who would not leave a tip? What's he doing in Austin when the team is in such disarray? Sure it's the bye week, but with what's been happening this year, the head coach should be living at Valley Ranch during the bye week to try and figure out how to salvage the season. I just don't buy it.

If it's proven to me that this actually happened, I'll gladly apologize to Zordon.

who was he with? some old dude, i have no idea who he was.

why would he not leave it a tip? beats me and not something i'd expect from him. maybe it was an accident?

why is he in austin? my guess, F1 race.

burden of proof? am i sharing a story or going on trial. go take your blood pressure medicine, you're getting way too uptight over this.

This thread is just great. I mean we have guys drawing a line in the sand based on principle and now arent gonna post in it anymore. And why? Because the OP didnt respond by proving beyond a reasonable doubt that he has some proof to validate his story.

Only in the Twilight Zone. :D

So now we find out Garrett is cheap and a bad tipper on top of being a poor coach?

His couching failures are tied to his personal failings as a human being, obviously.
