I might miss Jerry when he retires

Jerry has proven himself as a GM this year and is part of the reason why we won three superbowls in the 90s. I’m old enough to remember Jimmy Johnson and know the history between the two, but sometimes I wonder if we’re too harsh on Jerry. He’s made mistakes but winning championships are hard and we’ve won more than 95% of the league.

Thank you Jerry.
Personally, I've always liked Jerry. His early decision with hiring Jimmy led to 3 Super Bowls and has done some good things for the league and Cowboys. Certainly successful in everything he has touched and a good owner overall.

Now as a GM, he was awful after Jimmy and before Parcells in talent acquistion but the roster building has improved as he's brought more voices into the fold. I think the biggest thing you have to question is his coaching hires, and letting his ego get in the way of team management. I hope he is starting to figure it out with the investment in the DT trenches and hiring the right coach for this team. We should all hope for an opportunity at a Super Bowl before he's not around.

I think he definitely deserves more credit than many are willing to give him. For many alternative reasons. Like firing Landry to start with. And I could go on and on. But the bottom line is.

Things are trending in the right direction, but at 6-5-1 he has accomplished nothing yet. This off season Jerry has an opportunity to make up for lost time.
They win 3 games and are suddenly trending in the right direction........

This place really makes me laugh sometimes.

Don’t forget threatening to fire radio personalities.
Yeah, they have to put up with that crap. They don't have the fortitude to ask him hard questions because being the narcissist he is he will never talk to them, like a damn little kid.
