I’ll say it again: I miss Dan Quinn as DC. I had a bad feeling the moment he left that we were headed for years of defensive struggles. So far, that’s exactly what we’ve gotten. Both Mike Zimmer and Eberflus have been complete disasters.

Maybe Quinn really wanted a shot at being a head coach. I get that. But Jerry and Stephen should have pushed harder to keep him and pay him whatever it takes to make it work.

Dan Quinn may not be a great head coach, but he’s a damn good defensive coordinator. When he was here our defense stayed aggressive, disciplined, and competitive under him.

Just look at the adjustments he made in the second half of the Washington game. We got held to field goals, while our passing offense couldn’t do much. He adjusted well. While Eberwuss never adjusts. Prescott was under constant pressure and got sacked six times.

If Quinn ends up getting fired and becomes available as a DC next season, Jerry needs to act immediately and bring him back.

Quinn was already making 3m a year the season his defense got trounced by GB in the playoffs.
It was time for him to move on, take his last shot at head coach and begin thinking about his retirement.

Gus Bradley is available if you want more of the same and the same playoff results!

I miss him as well

His last game with us was worst than any defensive output this season and thats no joke

But overall? Ill take him back in a heartbeat but he wanted to be a head coach and i cant blame him….his defense in washington even last year has been horrible though

I don’t. Couldn’t stop the run.

I don’t

I don't want to hire back anyone who's already been a part of this mediocrity. I'd have more faith in 90'ex players as HC, DC, and OC than anyone we will ever see in those positions until Jerry kicks.

If we're retreading coaches, bring back Wade Phillips. Terrible head coach but won a Super Bowl with Denver as DC in 2016 and should have won one with the Rams as a DC in 2018. In those games, Phillips' D gave up 10 and 13 points, respectively.

His ability as a coordinator was not the problem here. His lack of discipline as a head coach was. Plus, I think his version of the 3-4 would be a good fit for our DTs (Quinnen, Clark, Osa).
