I understood the issue that Farve had with the packers, ted thompson, jets etc. But after he threw that final pass for a TD, with the game already over, I no longer have respect or liking for Farve. I will never consider him a super bowl type qb either. Any QB that does that to me, reminds me of a buddy ryan and their team that ran us the score.

So, dont let the door hit you as you go out the door farve, and i sincerely wish that the saints defense gives you what you gave the cowboys this game. And see how you like it.

To me, your a loud mouth qb like joe theismann farve, and no more will you be in my list as a top qb, ever!!

If we had cajones, we would have stopped him from "running up" the score.

Wasn't it Jimmy Johnson who said, "We play 60 minutes of football."

Why are you guys crying about it now???

Maybe if we would've stopped them on their other touchdown drives, we wouldn't be crying about this.

It's still considered professional courtesy to not run up the score when the game is decided. That's the kind of stuff that should only happen on Xbox live not in actual professional football.

You arent paying attention to football if you havent lost respect for this guy long ago.

Total clown, loves himself, not the game.

I never had respect for him because he's lied for years about the pronunciation of his last name.

I'm in this camp. 60 minutes of football and that's that. Kneeling down with under a minute is fine, otherwise keep your legs churning.

I remember Holmgren throwing a fit when Switzer sent Boniol out for his 7th FG in an already decided game and didn't think it a big deal then. Play for 60 minutes and don't ask for mercy.

Edit: Never gave a crap about Favre any way, so no loss for me.

Weak response.

Twice they threw it on 4th down to run it up.

Maybe Childress thought running up the score would make up for his lack of hair.

Favre was just getting payback for all the times Dallas knocked Green Bay out of the playoffs.

I remember he was one of the pissed Packers when Dallas had the game in hand and let our kicker, I think it was Chris Boniol, kick a field goal as time ran out to try to secure an NFL record. The Packers thought Dallas was classless and a fight ensued. I remember Reggie White and Brett Favre were not happy.

Payback.

That 7th FG was for a record....what record did they get for that last TD? If they were going for a record, I could understand it....however, there was nothing to be gained by it.....I just hope that the Saints took notice and score 50+ and really run up the score now.

I know, but that's how things are with this team. Everybody gets to play the under dog and get in their digs, regardless of how long it has been for us. While most teams are either still wallowing at bottom, (like Washington) or making their last ditch efforts (like Favre), the Cowboys are yet again building another monster of a team that has the potential to dominate the league again.

People like to be wishy-washy when it comes to history, e.g., we as fans can-t use it as a barometer for how our franchise can be judged, yet detractors can use it to fuel their Napolean complex.

**** them and their silly digs. It's football and turn about will be fair play.

So we own no responsibility for not showing up? All the blame is on the Vikings running the score up?

I hate when people talk out the sides of his mouth. Yeah, we weren't trying to run up the score, then a few seconds later brings up that BS story. Hmmph!

I had no problem with them running up the score, just be honest about it. Damn.

If the Boys do it, it's called finishing the game. If it happens to the boys, it's classless. The fan base is more embarrassing than the team was tonight.
