I now sadly agree: Tuna needs to go.....

I'm not listening to any talk shows; I'm not reading any fan discussion websites; I just want to vent my frustration while the wound is still freakin' fresh.

Open letter to Jerry Jones: Tuna time w/ the Cowboys has passed, let him go.

Tuna is a HOFer and deserves all the accolades he's gotten in the past. However, we're living "in the now" and the time for him to ride into the sunset has come.

He did a solid job in his four years here. Although he hasn't brought the team completely back (going to and winning the SB), he stabilized a floundering franchise, brought in and developed good players, and will leave the shelves stocked with plenty of good players for the next HC.

The game has passed Tuna by. He reminds me of the "old time" poker player who just can't keep up w/ the new poker generation. He hasn't or won't change his game to deal w/ the agressive young guns of poker thus no longer being able to compete on a consistent basis.

The TG fumble for a safety AND the Romo fumble on the missed FG should have NOT, I repeat, should have NOT been factors in the outcome of this game! We were playing a team who had so many players injured and out of comission, the game should not have gone down to the wire! We should have attacked early and often, should have exploited their obvious weaknesses and gone for killshots instead of just playing close to the vest and trying to win it, by a squeaker, in the end. We should have had a big lead going into the final minutes.

I'm looking for fresh blood, someone w/ fire & who's aggressive, who isn't afraid to open things up offensively and defensively early and often. Someone w/ a fresh view of things. I'm not sure who that may be, but we should start looking NOW!

I want to end this by saying thank you to Tuna for helping restore some of the lost luster of this franchise. However, I believe a change is needed if we want to keep moving forward and get to (and win) the SB. I've lost faith in Tuna to get us there. So Jerry, I want to end this w/ a plea from a sad, frustrated Cowboys fan; do the right thing and make a change.
:(

Not just a change but the right change, whatever that is.

Jerry Jones is not going to fire Bill Parcells.

He MIGHT convince him to step aside.

But I doubt he's going to fire him.

That said, four years ago, if someone said, "Hey if we sign Parcells we can go 34-32 with no play off wins in four years" I doubt many people would have signed up for that.

The coaches had us in position to win this game. The players failed. Don't hang this loss on the coaches.

I don't care how JJ does it as long as we have new blood in here next year Juke. I just believe Tuna has gotten us as far as he can take us. We have most of the players in place, now we just need the HC who can take the baton from Tuna and get us to the final destination, the SB.....

BP deserves no blame for this loss...he can catch or hold the ball for us...Also ya aint gonna find many coaches too fire up a team like this after ending the last 4 games of a season 1-3 and have them play their guts out like they did today especially on D.

I look at it differently. I look at the coaches putting us in a position to lose. Seattle had so many players hurt (both offensively & defensively) that this game never should have been this close. Too timid, too conservative, too close-to-the-vest attitude = DEFEAT, again.....:(

this is honestly one of the worst coaching jobs ever in history, not just Bill but every single coach we have!!!!!! so much talent but not one of our coaches knew how to use them...

As long as Parcells is here the games will almost always come down to the wire, which I hate!. Although B.P. opines this style puts you in a position to win I must agree that it puts you in a position to lose almost every game.

Not a single person would have.
