My family wants to go see Harry Potter 6 tonight at the Midnight showing. I consented so yesterday the wife bought the tickets. Forget the fact that I will only get 2 hours of sleep before work the next day. They actually want to go get in line about 10:30. We already have our tickets. Why do we need to get in line?

Packed theatre, people will be in line so they get good seats. So unless you want a sore neck AND 2 hours of sleep for work tomorrow, you might also want to get there early so you're not in the first row.

I rarely go see a movie the first week it's out. I hate being crowded in to a theater. I want to actually enjoy the movie.

Yea, same for me. I like to wait a few weeks and then do a matinee when I know there will be the fewest people.

your kids will undoubtedly want to be a part of the festivities, where all the little kids and the nerdy teenagers/adults get dressed up as Harry Potter characters with costumes and paint, and hang out before going into the theatre
