I really think dallas tanked this game intentionally just not to play the giants because the giants i see them as a team if they get in...they would rally and make a serious run. Dallas knows the chances of getting the bye were slim and could easily end up playin giants.

Dallas can take seattle easily and by having giants and eagles play each other it takes one of the two toughest teams out and allows them to beat the crap out of each other.

The reason i say this, was the lack of emotion from everyone includin parcells and even if no one shows emotion he will and after the game non of the players seemed to be angry which is the opposite of when they lost to saints and giants, you could see they had a fire in them after those losses.

i know this is just out there but it could be very well, strategic football, and dont forget dallas has a impressive road record.

yeah, we REALLY wanted to have to play 3 road games instead of one or two (or none had the Bears been kicked out early)

well parcells called some pretty stupid plays IMO...why not kick the FG? and if you go for it why not run a diff play? i also saw some plays where barber was going off tackle...when he runs better up the middle...why not get TO involved more? why play like that? TO was running stupid patterns out there...they were the called plays...i have heard of parcells tanking preseason games...he even admitted that...but a real game? i cant see it...but this game will cause some players to give their all next week for sure...maybe he was trying to wake them up...i mean he didnt even give us a chance offensively and we play better on the road...and seattle and the bears are faltering while the saints and birds arent...along with us not matching up well with the gints...its kind of weird...

Well I doubt anything was done on purpose like that but as a fan now that it's all said and done, I like the playoff seeding better for the reason you mention anyway.

If we werent gonna get the bye, what difference did a home game make? We already know it means nothing after the last 2 home games. And even if we would've won that game it would've meant going to the Saints for their first playoff game. Oh yeah, thats a nice thought.. prolly woulda made the first meeting look like a close game.
