I say again... this team needs an enthusiasm coach.

Am I the only one who does not see much enthusiasm coming from the team this year? What's up with that? They don't seem to meet challenges well and fall apart. Other teams seem to be so much more eager than the Boys this year. Something's missing. Where's the cohesion, camaraderie-sp? and confidence?

Someone's not doing their job.

Can we hire the Commanders' enthusiasm coach?

Parcells is losing it, claiming the final play was the reason we lost. That was stupid and it opens himself up for more criticism. Had we kicked an extra point, the game was over because we'd have just ran out the clock. There was plenty of blame to go around for what happened. Plenty.

Still, credit Washington for playing hard and dare I say it over their heads. They were inspired and that field was rocking. I wish Dallas had a home field advantage like that.

I wanted them to just kick the extrat point, but that would not have guaranteed a Dallas victory. Washington could have gone for and converted a 2 point conversion of their own later in the game to tie it up. Or they could have missed fired as well. Yes, there is plenty of blame to go around for what happened. Too much just like in every loss.

I'm beginning to doubt Parcells has enough enthusiasm left to get the job done. I gotta tell you I watched the Bucs-Saints game here in Tampa (saw last 1 min of Cowboys game after Bucs-Saints game ended) and what a difference between the Saints and Cowboys. Saints lost last week but came out aggressive on offense from the get-go with Brees throwing something like 12 straight passes and his WRs (mostly unknown) catching everything in sight. That 7th round WR pick of theirs (Colston) is amazing; 2n straight 100+ plus games with 7 TDs caught already. Even former Cowboy WR Terrence Copper caught at least 1 big pass. Hope to see another Saints game just to see how they play after a win. Their defense needs to pick up a few more good players but that offense is smoking although running game from Reggie Bush needs get better. We'll have our hands full trying beat Saints and frankly I won't bet money we can. Sean Peyton knows our team too well and Parcells proclivities.

The Cowboys had to make several key mistakes for the Commanders to win yesterday. Going for 2 might have been one of them.

I started a thread about this. I know these guys make millions and should be able to motivate themselves, but even the best players in the world have motivational coaches.

They need a consultant to help them with motivation and mental toughness.

Last week, the players got a boost from Parcells' openess with them; they went out and played their hearts and butts off for him. This week, he was back to himself, pulling the reins back in. He's stifling them. He mindlessly is following a chart. He lacks enthusiasm!

I see this as being back and forth all season long unless the players that are leaders on this team take matters into their own hands. The players have to step up because their supreme leader just doesn't have enough to last a season; Parcells is running on fumes.

Like I said two weeks ago, the mistakes and penalties keep happening - that this has not been corrected by now has to be laid at the feet of the coaches; mainly Parcells. Yeah the players should be more disciplined; Parcells hasn't demanded enough mental toughness out of this bunch!!!

Pitiful!
