Guys the Bears are good. News flash huh?

This game Sunday night is going to be tough. Jay Ratliff and the middle of this defense are going to get all they can handle because I expect Chicago to run right at us Sunday night.

Our defense played a lot better last week but there is still more holes in our coverage than I would like to see.

That being said I predict Newman to be back this week.

Soldier field dont play either. We played very well on the road at Dolphin Stadium but Miami isn't really a place where the fans will factor in.

Big Leonard D and Flozell are our 2 best OL but they got to cut down on the penalties and they will have to fight through a lot of crowd noise Sunday Night.

Teams like Chicago find ways to beat teams like us. You make a mistake... Chicago makes you pay.

I will be very interested to see how Romo and Barber play this week against one of the top NFL's defense.

Chicago is going to be a great measuring stick for us Sunday night and I expect to see one heck of a game that goes all the way down to the wire.

I expect a Playoff atmosphere Sunday Night 2 Soldier Field.

The Bears are not that good.

Who has their only offensive TD through 2 games?

This game definetly worries me. On the road against this Chicago team is no small order. I think a few things are going to have to go our way in this one.

Defense - Check Chicago
Special Teams - Check Chicago
Offense - Check Cowboys
Tangibles - Check Chicago (At home, they find the tangibles to win)

Great defense usually beats great offense.

We will need things to go our way especially on the turnover battle, and our Defense will have to play better then the first 2 weeks, a lot better IMO.
We can do it, but my enthusiasm is not high.

The key in this game IMO will be how effective our O-Line and Secondary plays.

The bears offense is bad, if you dont play into their defense with turnovers and give them good field position they will wear down.

Our defense is good enough to force them into mistakes, our offense is capable of wearing down their defense, taking advantage of their miscues and scoring.

I agree with this thread starter-Cedric Benson is starting to play better(and 124 in last week's game), and Adrien Peterson(not the OU guy) is no slouch either.

I'm rather scared of them running through our middle.

Thats what I continued to believed until they found themselves in the Superbowl.

Guys.. The Bears are what they are. They may not look pretty doing it but they consistently find ways to win ball games.

Put a team like that on primetime television vs the Dallas Cowboys and you can bet your going to get a show Sunday night.

Dont fool yourselves guys. The Bears are a very good team and the Class of the NFC until proven otherwise.

Cedric the skirt barely cracked 100 against the pitiful Chiefs and got put into his place against the Chargers.

Any road game against an opponent like the bears is tough, but if dallas wants to be taken seriously these are games you have to win. This game will test our mental toughness. Hostile crowd, great defense, Sunday night football. We need to rise to the occasion.

Exactly, tough road game in a tough stadium...Will go a good ways in showing where the team is at this point early in the season.

Still, at this point in the season, I'd much rather face a defensive team than an offensive juggernaut...Hopefully, the defense will start getting better and better.

The Bears scare me. I watched them against the Chargers and they were 10 yards in the backfield on run plays and i had to rewind to count how many were in the box and they only have 7!!!! These dudes are good upfront. I think we have to pass early and run late in the game. They do wear down. Hester scares me. I don’t think the word scare does justice of the fear i feel inside when i think of covering him. Of course the Cowboys can win, but i hope none of the players take these guys lightly.

I don't know how any of you can say the Bears are not good. They have been one of the elite teams in the past 2 years. The 'boys haven't. Yes, their offense stinks, but as the 2002 Ravens proved, you can win with offense, and that's what the Bears have been doing. I have this game in the "loss" column, so if we win it will be a bonus.

Loss column? What are you talking about? Wave the white flag before the game even starts. Way to go.

If anyone has watched the Bears first 2 games, you know that they are NOT THAT GOOD. They dont run well, they dont pass well, they dont block well and the defense is definitely vulnerable.

Also, the Bears secondary is ripe for the picking. They are playing friggin Adam Archuletta, and a very green converted cb with a girls name at safety. Not to mention Tillmans ability to turn into toast against top quality wide outs. The only thing that scares me about the Bears is Hester.

Why do you view the Bears special teams superior to ours? I think there return teams are better but I view our kicker and punter as better then the Bears.
