justsaynotoTO you are sadly mistaking when it comes to the Bears.

You think they just luckily fell into the Superbowl last year?

We are the team with something to prove. Not Chicago.

Seeing as how the Saints were the other team in the NFC Championship game.....YES.

Also, the Bears secondary is ripe for the picking. They are playing friggin Adam Archuletta, and a very green converted cb with a girls name at safety. Not to mention Tillmans ability to turn into toast against top quality wide outs. The only thing that scares me about the Bears is Hester.

I'll be curious to see the spin on Monday about Tillman...You're seriously underestimating him.

The Bears are not that good.

Who has their only offensive TD through 2 games?

They have shut down lt and played well against antonio gates and then kicked larry johnsons butt sunday.

This is a big time tough game for us.

Im seriously not, he cant handle the top players in the game. Put him on Owens and its going to be like Steve Smith in 2005 all over again.

Could be lots of turnovers in this game. I saw whomever wins the turnover battle, will win the war.

Why do you view the Bears special teams superior to ours? I think there return teams are better but I view our kicker and punter as better then the Bears.

One reason - Devin Hester - He changes games, he wins games, he is an impact player returning kicks. I give them the edge here. They win with Defense and Hester.

All this fear regarding the bears running game....

How much can the bears run if/when they get torched by the Dallas O & fall behind?

Dallas is good. But IMO, kind of a fragile type of good at this stage. This is a solidification game and a very winnable game. This is a heart game as the Bears will challenge our toughness. As stated in this thread, we can't play into their strength and give their struggling offense short fields by turning the ball over. Berrian is all that scares me on their offense and of course Hester on ST. All I'm concerned about is our mental toughness, not turning the ball over and Hester. I think we have an excellent shot. They are not playing well at all right now.

If we lose this game it will be our offense that loses it.
I do think that the Bears offense can run the ball with thier good offensive line.
But Romo and our offense against the super fast Bears defense is what really concerns me.
Philip Rivers and Ladanian Tomlinson looked very average against this defense.
Ulracher is probably the only MLB in the NFL who can run with Witten down the seams. So if the Cowboys have problems running the ball and they can not exploit the middle with the TE's like they want, then it falls to TO and our wr's.
This is what worry's me.
Unlike the Giants and the Dolphins the Bears are very solid in the secondary.
Vasher,Tillman and Manning etc.. are very formidable.
Defense-Edge Bears
Special Teams-Edge Bears.
Offense-Edge Dallas.
I like Romo but he needs to be very patient in this game. Sometimes a 3 and out would not be a bad thing against this defense. Meaning he does not need to take chances early in the game deep in his own territory.
This game reminds me of when Aikman would go up against those great Buddy Ryan defenses.
Aikman would be very patient early in the game and not risk the early turnovers and in the second half we would eventually take over the games.
Patience by Romo is the key.

For some reason the Bears don't scare me. I think they
are similar to Miami good defense, mediocre offense. The
biggest difference will be that Chicago will actually have
more fans in the stands than Miami did.

I haven't felt this way since 1992. We will win this game big. The score won't even be close.
