after eagles play Broncos.

I see eagles at 6-3

And cowboys at 5-4 or 4-5

I chose 9 games instead of 8 because of eagles vs Broncos and Dallas vs Atlanta

Then eagles vs Cowboys

We get tight after that game.

I'm curious?

Where do the two losses for the Eagles come from?

And where does Dallas get those two to three wins?

Skins I would assume. Eagles aren't losing to the 49ers in Philly.

That Skins game is pretty important IMO. Skins have played them tough in Philly the last few years. If the Eagles win that one, they coast to 7-1 and would be 3-0 in the division with a sweep of the Skins.

I thought that, and it's possible. But then Dallas is playing that same Commanders team, and based on the assumption of wins, we're somehow supposed to beat the team that was good enough to defeat these 5-1 Eagles?

A lot of optimism going around, with not much support to back it up.

This team has to work to get faith back. They've done more than enough to lose it thus far.

If the Cowboys can beat the Eagles twice then they have a great shot to make it a tight race. If not, wildcard is the only option.

The coaches should have spent some time studying the Eagles on the bye.

May come down to that last game at Philly...a winner take all for the division, or maybe just a win and in for a WC...

The Giants almost beat the Eagle, we beat the Gints soundly by using that logic. The Eagles are winning games, I’ll give them that but they aren’t some u stoppable force. 3 our of their last 4 wins could’ve went either way.

And the Giants just soundly beat the team that destroyed us. Connect those dots too.

And we escaped with a win against the Cardinals, who were throttled by the Eagles. We look worse in this no matter how people spin it.

"Could've", that's what we get. Fact is, they didn't. The Eagles managed to win their games that "could've went either way" while Dallas managed to lose theirs.

But there's no excuses.

One counts as a win, the other as a loss. No qualifiers.

Gah. Let's beat SF and see how the defense looks in he process. We're not going anywhere giving up points at the rate we're giving them up, and we can't makeup a twongame hole in any given week.

Let the Eagles worry about the Eagles until Eagles week. Anything can happen, and teams drop unexpected games all the time.

I’m not making an excuse.

My point is that it’s impossible to look at another game to judge how a team will match up with us. The league in general is very unpredictable.

I would bet money our game against the Eagles will be a one possession game. They may beat us but they haven’t proved they will blow us out of the water.

What do you think "could've" is? That's the definition of an excuse.

No doubt about that. But until I see this team being one that's trending upward or showing signs of improvement, I'm not buying it. They have to show me.

But still ultimately a loss, right? No moral victories for me or credit for hanging in there if they lose. Win the game or you lose.

And the scary thing is that the Eagles took the 13-3 team to overtime last year before we ultimately prevailed. Their team looks better since then, ours looks worse.

I don't like this logic. The NFL is all about winning close games. The Patriots were 14-2 last year. 5 of their wins were one possession games. Are you saying they could've just as easily been 9-7? The Cowboys won 7 games last year by one touchdown or less. Could they have just as easily gone 6-10 instead of 13-3?

The Eagles are winning games that they used to lose. That should be concerning.

Yes and if not, the wildcard race is wide open. The only 2nd place team in an NFC division with 4 wins is the Packers and now Rodgers is out.

This season has been insane. It wouldn't be any more far fetched for us to sweep the Eagles than it would for them to sweep us. You literally can't predict what happens from week to week.

I can predict that the Cowboys will be worse without Zeke. I can predict that the D wont be fixed on one off week.

Those things are for darn sure. I just hope we find a way to mix the run in effectively enough to have TOP advantage. That would go a long way toward helping the defense out.

maybe if every good QB in the NFC goes down we might be able to back into a NFC championship game.
