I've never been one of those fans who has to convince himself the team can contend in order to remain interested.
This team sucks. The arrow is pointing down not up. They are woefully mismanaged and a radical change needs to happen before they'll ever contend again.
Having said that, Go Cowboys.
Now, I agree we are flawed and our overall talent level is pretty low, but key talent is not and we are young. Another draft and some development of the Coleman's and Bishop's of the world and we will be in good shape.
8-8 is not good I agree, but I'm tired of hearing how the Cowboys are the worst team in the NFL when clearly they are not, despite other team's having several years to draft higher than Dallas and with "better" coaches.
I'd love to see Garrett gone personally, but if he turns it around then he deserves to build on the program which at minimum is seen in overall effort and passion to play on Sundays.
Anyone that can get Rolando McClain to his commensurate talent level can't be that horrific of a coach in total. The man DIDN'T want to play for the defending world champion Ravens, but he does love being a Cowboy. That's a feather in Red's pretty barren cap thus far.
