Jerry is just getting started. If Jerry has decided he wants DMac he has all the ammo he needs to get to the 4th pick.

If anything, getting PacMan done before the draft would tend to make me think Jerry is more likely to move up.

Everyone has their opinion, but thankfully we get to see it end this Saturday.

I have to agree with this......its a gamble that could pay off huge and for years. Adding 2 guys of Pacman's and DMac's talent and youth would put this team on a whole new level.

for the last time JERRY SAID HE WANTS TO ADD SOME WOW TO THE OFFENSE.
I know you think I often disagree with you just to disagree with you. Not in this case.

Jerry was talking about WOW on offense. No denying it and no doubt about it.

I wish I knew. Roy Williams was my bet. I think that is unlikely now. I don't think anyone can doubt that was Jerry's thoughts too. Too much evidence that he was looking for it has come out.

Right now, I'd have to say the WOW plan is derailed. Instead they will look to solidify the entire offense.

i'm sticking to my opinion on Roy and that is we will sign him after next season unless Millen tags him. As for the WOW i'm hoping it's that dude in my sig. but i'm having my doubts that were not gonna get this WOW player jerry spoke of.:(

Assuming he gets reinstated. I'm still a little worried that Roger won't allow him back this year.
I'm with you... I have a feeling that he's gonna put off any kind of decision until the day before camp opens. 'til then, Jones has to keep himself busy working out and little else...

I respect you for clinging to your dream. He is without a doubt my favorite player in this draft. 2nd place isn't even close. I just gave up on that when Cleveland forgot to suck in 2007.

He can wow me by either getting McFad or trading for RW or some other stud. None of these other fellas wow me from the draft.

Anyone who has watched football for the past ten years knows that the one position that stands out with consistently equal success stories from rounds 1-6 in the drafts (and even for undrafted players) has been running back. Add that to the short career span (I know most people have altered perceptions about this because Emmitt played forever) and it's just not a good gamble to move up for McFadden. I hope Jerry doesn't for sure and I doubt any good GM ever would. It's just not worth it. There have been so many busts who looked as good as McFadden coming out of college. I know that you gotta make moves and that ANY player can be a bust (there are no guarantees) but I'd just rather sign a good back at a cheaper price tag since we have MBIII for a lot of the load anyway.

Go Mavs.

If he wasn't planning on reinstating him he would have already denied him instead of making him wait until camp.

Pacman hasn't applied for reinstatement, yet.

.

I keep seeing this, but wonder...like who? who has his combination of physical skills and on the field results vs great competition that turned into a bust? This guy dominated the SEC and sparked Pat Dye to say nobody has been as good as he was since Bo Jackson

Pacman was IT.

Seriously-we can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the draft now KNOWING that b/c of this unravel, trading the house for McFadden is VERY unlikely now.:)

Yeah, and Bo Jackson's career was (SURPRISE!) cut short due to injury. It's such a dumb investment to throw all that cap money and draft picks at a running back (especially an unproven one). I'm all for trading up if it's for a solid skilled position that you desperately need, and has a better chance of giving you a longterm return for your investment. Fortunately, we don't desperately need a single feature back and this draft has plenty of less popular backs who can be just as good as McFadden. Hopefully Jerry has learned from his past mistakes and is smarter now. Look at the top ten backs from last year. They were drafted from all over the place in almost every round and a couple weren't even drafted. RB's arent some rare commodity. With good scouting, we'll find a great one to compliment MBIII.

Two more days and all the speculation will come to an end............FINALLY!
Opinions are like butt holes,.....everyone has one and they all stink! No one knows what Jerry Jones is going to do on Saturday, so lets sit back and watch what happens.
