McCarthy made the playoffs 3 straight years and then couldn't compete when Jerry didn't provide him players. I'm no McCarthy fan...but what EXACTLY has changed for the better since Schotty came here? Sitting CD down for one series? Better command of modern lingo? C'mon...
 
What culture did Flores change when he was in Miami?

And what culture did Schott change this year? was it losing? i think you want to say losing, but losing is the culture.

no way shotty is not going anywhere he is jason garrett part two. jones is not going to pay a coach millions to go somewhere else. shotty still has two or three more years of money on his contract. i think that eberflus will be the coach that gets fired at the end of the season.
 
Give Shotty a chance with an actual defense and see how it plays out. We obviously want to run the ball but we can't when the defense makes terrible QB's look like hall of famers
 
Schottenheimer will be the last coach Jerry ever hired in his life. He won't be going anywhere anytime soon, Jerry on the other hand isnt too far from beign done with football.

He’s suing the NFL and since Jerry sees himself as the NFL personified, there’s pretty much no chance of this happening

He’s still on my list of potential coordinators I’d O’Connne were to get fired and the Vikes cleared house
 
I like Aaron Whitecotton as the DL coach.
Give me Al Harris as the DB coach and passing game coordinator. His DB's were excellent till Zimmmer and Eberflus. (Good D, but didn't maximize the existing players talents)
Give me Shiel Wood as LB coach and run game coordinator. (New blood and I like his teaching)

Give me Sean Lee as the DC.

Competitive, hard nosed, knows the importance of film, leaders of men.

I think these guys are all smart and could work together to build a legit defense. I want coaches that can see what the other team is trying to do, and realistic enough to know what talent they currently have and what will work. Not interested in guys that say my way works, because either Dallas doesn't have the talent, or other teams have smart enough OC's to attack their weaknesses.

Give it a rest, JJ isn’t Hiring that whiny crybaby loser. That dude won’t ever be a HC in the NFL ever again, he’s lucky he has a job in the NFL after filing suit against the league because he got fired in Miami.
 
Schotty is the new Garrett. He's a suped up version, less robotic but equally conservative. We may get another decade of him if Jerry staves off death that long

What did Schotty change, he sure the hell didn’t change the blocking schemes last night after Minnesota blitzed down after down, series after series. It was hurtful to watch, and when a blitz was picked up the RB was in Prescott’s lap all night long. What joke! More times than not, running plays ran straight into the blitzer’s arms!!!!!!! The Boys were once again out played and out coached All Fricking Night Long!!!
 
His QB of choice was 11 INTs and 9 TDs. No thanks.

Exactly. Both have been head coaches and understand how empowered a head coach must be to have any chance to be successful. No way Jerry gives his head coach any kind of autonomy. And for the Cowboys either would be unprecedented.

Jerry has been on the wrong side of history many times. He will never hire someone of Brian Flores's ilk for head coach.
