For those who don't know, the fake corps does this to "feel the pain" of the team on the field. ABC's cameras captured this today and it left the announcers speechless...there really is not much else to say, but this would explain why aggies thought they would win the Big XII and that McGee was a good QB.

Sadly, I would assume this means that the "tradition" of the " Jar" is also true...

I gotta say that Mike Leach has a solid back-up career in the wings with stand-up comedy. His "fake soliders" and "Mike's pirate school" schtick is absolute pure gold.

"How come they get to pretend they are soldiers? The thing is, they aren't in the military. I ought to have Mike's Pirate School. The freshmen, all they get is the bandana. When you're a senior, you get the sword and skull and crossbones. For homework, we'll work pirate maneuvers and stuff like that."
