Garbage!?!...you obviously didn't watch him play, young fella.
Never liked Keyshawn much but he played his heart out while he was in Dallas.

Young fella? Really get out of here with that lol. I watched him play. Forgive me for not being impressed. He was serviceable, he made some nice plays. Td against Seattle comes to mind. But I never liked him or his style nor did I ever think he was elite. I suppose if we're talking about playing hard then sure..I'll give you that.

Your profile says your 30. To me, you're a young fella.. and were even younger when Keyshawn played.
Didn't mean anything by it though.

Never claimed he was elite... but the garbage label is a touch harsh.

Keyshawn is like the Jason Kidd of Wide receivers.

You can never really appreciate him until he is on your team and you watch him a bunch.

With that said.. I dont like his personality and whatever positives he did for the Cowboys have long been forgotten.

Glenn did way more then Key did

I would say Key had a brief stretch in his career where he could be considered elite. Late NYJ/early TB days, although he did forget how to score TDs in TB

I have nothing bad to say about Keyshawn, or Glenn. They both played their hearts out when here. I'll even say that about T.Owens, and that might get me some flack. The ones I hate are Roy Williams and Joey Galloway.

Agreed. Keyshawn was a leader and very vocal on the team. Anyone who says he showed no heart wasn't watching. Keyshawn wanted to win, and loved his team.

Why hate Galloway? It wasn't his fault that he got injured in his 1st game with us and it wasn't his fault that Aikman then got injured and retired. It wasn't his fault that Jerry Jones then tried to win with bargain basement QBs with marginal talent. He was still and very good WR when he left here who was improperly utilized due to lack of talent at QB. He went on to have some pretty good years at TB and you could argue it was a big mistake to let him go when we did.

Can you imagine a team trying to matchup with Glenn and Galloway on the outside and how much room that would have left a young Jason Witten over the middle?

I think the truly dumb move was needlessly trading away Galloway to Tampa Bay when everyone knew that Gruden couldn't wait to get rid of Keyshawn and you could have gotten him for nothing. And offense with Keyshawn running short stuff and Galloway deep would have been much better.

In my opinion, there was a part of Parcells that hated speed guys and home run hitters and it was always three years and a cloud of dust with him.

Agreed. Glenn and Owens were a great 1-2 punch as well.

We needed Glenn to be healthy one more season. He was injured in 2007 and unfortunately we never really saw Romo at QB throwing to TO and Glenn at WR for a full season. I've always said that Glenn is one of the more physically talented WRs to ever play. For a myriad of reasons, his career production failed to match that talent level. He compares favorably to Beckham, who everyone is drooling over now.

Is this a joke?

Keyshawn was garbage. He was a serviceable possesión wr at best.

I have to side with you, obviously calling him garbage is hyperbolic; but you had to go extreme with all the Keyshawn butt kissing going around here. He was slightly above average while on the Cowboys. His name brought a lot of hype and passes his way he probably did not deserve
