Don't let it bother you. We are a laughing stock right now make but no mistake...THE MOST POPULAR LAUGHING STOCK.

Television ratings, merchandise and media driven stories all aren't a mirage. That is not excusing the franchise for it's ineptness right now, but we're not going anywhere in popularity.

I was emotional when Bob Hayes got in the HOF today and it made me realize how mad and frustrated I am at the current team to make me feel the way I do about them.

I dont like using the media popularity as a reason we're the most popular cause it's mostly negative. But when we're winning, the Steelers, Packers, etc. just arent there with us. It's amazing to see how much the whole "America's Team" label and the FACT(not opinion) that we have the most fans still gets under people's skin.

I'm sure we lost fans after the TO trade (or signing, I can't remember), the Pacman trade, and the Philadelphia debacle that put us winless in the playoffs for 12 straight years. If Jerry wants to keep running this team like he has been and not learn from his mistakes then someday soon we won't be the most popular team.

If JJ were to emulate any organization, it should be the Steelers. I have nothing but respect for them.

On the other hand, our organization is turning into a circus .. and the lead clown is our boy Jerry Jones.

You got that right, yes we are the laughing stock in the whole NFL right now.

In fact, I think it would be better if the NFL and Media says the cowboys are now just a bunch of players that dont care to win, and are losers when it comes to the playoffs.

In other words, get the players dander up, have the players feel like we feel as fans when we get laughed at, etc, then maybe the players attitude will change.

Only the players can hold private locker room meetings with no owner or coaches present. When you push a person in a corner, either he is going to come out fighting and show you who he really is, or the other.

So, it might be better for the cowboys to boil over, blow up inside the locker room, hear all of the media, and other NFL fans teams laughing at them.

And be made accountable to the Dallas Cowboys fans, why they play such a lousy game like in the Phily game and answer for it.

As far as Bradie James saying, you cant get in a players face, etc, because the coaches, and organization higher up wont back us. Hogwash!

If the Cowboys there were true Dallas Cowboy Champions in the 70's, and the 90's, and the Packers in the 60's, Steelers in the 70's, they had leadership, they had locker room meetings, with players holding other players accountable.

When one of our star players whom now is retired, but he had to catch the safety roy willams trying to sneak out after practice, but darren woodson caught him, sat him on his you know what and made him study and watch film. Then, that shows some of the attitude on this team.

When your star QB sneaks off to you know where the weekend of the big playoff game, and thinks its no big deal, talking about perception, but now with Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman saying he is wrong and he had better worry about perception, then that shows what is wrong with this team.

It isnt all the coaches, or the owner, its all of the above, no true leadership from the top directing this team and holding them accountable.

The players want to be treated like professionals, but it just shows you cant treat them like professionals. YOu have to treat them like Jimmy Johnson did, on top of them all the time and working them.

The Steelers will never be America's team. Have you noticed the lack of buzz in this Super Bowl. The Cowboys had some of the highest rated games this season and they didn't make the playoffs. We also have been getting a lot of buzz during the playoffs. The Steelers are a great franchise, great fans but not America's team.

It's what they said the year the Saints FINALLY did something decent. Right after Katrina too. I heard "America's Team" a lot about them.

I also heard it said the year the Puckers won the SB with Favre. I heard it about the Bronco's too when they won two in a row.

Take it as a compliment. It's like when people say "The Micheal Jordan of Plumbing" or "The Micheal Jordan of bartending".................

The "Micheal Jordan" part of it is THE STANDARD. Using his name to describe YOU is the compliment, however fleeting, flippant or temporary. You'll NEVER BE Micheal Jordan, but for "what you just did", at this time, we'll borrow upon his name to describe you. This time next year, you're back to being a scrub.

The "America's Team" brand was, is and always WILL be a Dallas Cowboy thing. The term is only used by three kinds of people:

1. Cowboy fans. Where it's used genuinely.

2. Wishers and hoper's and wannabe's. Those who, by using the very term "America's Team", wish and pray that they would someday BE that, but can never be.

3. Cowboy hating pundits and talking heads who live for no other reason than to "stick it" to the Cowboys and their fans. They know that the very mention of the Cardinals being "the new America's Team" (which WILL happen if they win tomorrow) will piss Dallas fans off. Which is their goal.

Don't give 'em the pleasure. You know, I know, they all know WHO America's Team is.................

Ask him which games for each network in 2008 had the best ratings.

The proof is in the pudding. Dallas sells even when struggling.

We are sex.

Teams don't lose fans for reasons like these. Those people weren't fans in the first place. So good riddance to every one of them.

:lmao2: Love it. The Detroit News once referred to the Dallas Cowboys as a sexy team. Sex sells. So you are correct.

Well of course not. We're all 6'5" 250lbs of shredded muscle on the internet.

It goes beyond that. In addition to those physical stats we all also have extensive MMA experience, and are equally deadly with fists, feet, and submission holds.

Oh, and we all also have a million in the bank, and hot girlfriends.
