the pressure was both good and relentless the whole game. McNabb did a great job escaping. The average QB would have gone down 5 or 6 times last night. Ratliff is a beast. He and Leon Lett maybe the 2 best 7th rounders the boys ever got.

the eagles o-line was mauling our front 7 in the 1st half. Wade needs to man up and stop telling this defense they did good after allowing 37 points. it's not acceptable at all. be a man and tell it like it is.

I'll say Philly scored 7 points in the second half and that was it. As bad as the D played in the 1st half they did play some what better in the 2nd half.

Yea played good in the second half.

But seriously it makes you think about how bad the defensive game plan was coming into the game.

the 15 yard cushions have to go. Atleast played a mixed coverage.

I think it has a lot to do with the team on the other side of the field. Philly is not some push over. If you start from the point that we faced a very talented team with yes a very talented QB and take the stupid hate and Bias away when talking about Philly then maybe some would start to get a clue.

I do agree Dallas needs to be more aggressive but hell the offense gave up some points it was not just the defense giving up 30 1st half points and in the second half they only gave Philly 7 points for the entire half.

If people want to go off on the deep end over last night be my guest but this is week 2 and we are 2-0 with a lot of the season left for this unit to improve. As mentioned in another post G_men were giving up some points early last year but they did not continue giving up point they stepped up and I expect the same for this defense.

He must've been watching the same game I did.

I saw the same thing....watch it again. There was pressure on McNabb. The first and second half both...

He did a marvelous job of escaping. We had him dead to rights four or five times. We sacked him what???? four times?

Any other QB would've been sacked six or seven times last night.

So True our defense was pressuring McNabb all nite. Mcnabb is Mcnabb, even though he is 30 or 31 he is still strong , has a strong lower body and decent speed for most QB's.

I dont see many more QB's being able to pull away from our defense or move out of the way.

QFT khiladi: they were HORRIBLE in the first half, the worst performance from a dallas dline in recent memory IMO. Second half? totally different unit. Pride, speed, hitting and for the most part discipline.(except for Tank: thought he played horrible: he was invisible the whole night)

PS-You'll be shocked at Rodgers next week Gambit: the guy is the real deal. He can throw from every angle, on the run, in the pocket, you name it. (What shocked me is, he can SCRAMBLE TOO)Sucks to admit it, but it's true. I've seen him twice in the preseason and twice in the regular season and he's GOOD. They didnt' get rid of Favre on a whim. You'll see next week. We better be prepared or we'll get humiliated with the WR's they have.

McNabb was sacked 4 times last night. On top of 10 near misses! Gotta give McNabb a TON of credit last night.
