I will take the win but it means nothing if they can't get a split of these next 4

At Was

KC

At Atl

Philly

Beating up on a 0-6 team doesn't impress me at all when the defense have not shown they can stop a team with a good offense all season. So going 2-2 in the next 4 means they have a real shot at a wildcard in the NFC and that would be more impressive. It would be impressive because it would mean the defense was able to stop Cousins, Alex Smith, Matt Ryan or Carson wentz led offenses.

2-2 puts you at 5-5, forcing you to go 4-2 down the stretch to have any real playoff shot.

We really need to go 3-1

True but 2-2 out of that 4 game stretch to me would be very impressive. I agree 3-1 would be best but would anyone be upset if we are 5-5 after those 4 games?

Coming out of the gate hot was important this year due to our tough schedule. The first 6 weeks of the season was going to be our easiest, and even then, we had the Broncos and Packers.

We needed to pull out a win against the Packers or Rams at least. We didn't. We will need a serious turnaround or some playmakers to come into their own to win enough games.

Washington is a must, and Philly at home almost is as well. I have a tough time seeing us outscoring Atlanta on the road and KC might be the toughest game of the year.

eagles and skins look more tough than KC. KC doesn;t have a QB who can lead the team in the endzone

If we do split, give me the divisional wins.

Aside from that, anyone can be beat.

The way the offense has been rolling, only the game at Atlanta scares me right now. I know the Cowboys are only 3-3, but they've resembled the 2016 team offensively ever since the second half of the Cardinals game way back in week three.

With the defense even playing marginally better than they did in the losses to the Rams and Packers, I like Dallas' chances. Maybe this 49ers game also serves as a confidence booster.

Alex Smith is currently a top-3 MVP candidate and KC has the most explosive offense in the NFL.

Alex Smith is playing at MVP level, but I think if we can apply pressure on him he can get rattled and throw the ball away (he is conservative still, despite the numbers)

But it won't matter, the biggest issue is Hunt. I don't see us being the team that shuts him down.

You know anything can happen in a division game but I like our chances this week against the Skins. Our offense is starting to look as advertised and the defense has no excuses.....we have everyone healthy. Atlanta has not played great but the key is going to be the run defense against them. We have to make them one dimensional. KC has started to show cracks the last couple weeks.

Their defense that looked so great early has shown a lot of holes lately.

Don't forget Tyreek Hill; too. He can take a five yard dumpoff from Smith and turn it into a 75 yard touchdown.

Atlanta on the road is probably the least winnable of those games.

IF we cannot win the two games at our place and at least one of the others, we are not going to be good enough to play in January most likely. None of these games are that scary. If we have to go 2-2 during this stretch, we MUST beat the Eagles and Skins.
