... I get to the computer and lo and behold - Dallas signs Ayodele!

For 5 years, 17 million, that is not a bad signing. This is especially true seeing how he has recorded over 100 tackles for the Jags over the last four seasons.

I must say, I do like the Cowboys approach so far. Getting two team-oriented ROLE-PLAYERS instead of breaking the bank and going after Superstars.

Of course, that looks to change now as the rumors of Owens, Vinetieri, and McGinest seem to be getting stronger. I am still not in favor of getting Owens though. It would behoove Dallas to sign one of the two Patriots as they can bring a strong, championship attitude to this locker room.

Still some decent free agents out there, so I hope Dallas picks up a few of them.

Im done speculating on Owens to Dallas. We'll know in the next few days. Owens is a great player, with a **** attitude. Id prefer we don't have him, but I don't mind how good our team looks with him starting at WR with Glenn.

Ya know Billy,

I don't think anybody here doubts what TO can do on the field. It is what goes on in the locker room, and what he says in the press, that can ruin a franchaise.

I would like to see Dallas get somebody who has a strong locker room presence - and a few rings (like Vinatieri or McGinest).

:hammer:

I think we can pretty much rule out McGinnest after signing Ayodele, we'll look to the draft if we want to bring in another OLB, hope to God we sign Vinatieri, don't care if we sign TO or not, just give me Vinateiri! and Lance Schulters

Schulters will be one of those Band-Aid signings. Dallas will need a free safety to apprentice under Schulters.

That is, of course, if Dallas signs him.
