I would bring back Adrian Hamilton if he is cut

The Ravens seem really crowded at outside linebacker (3-4).

I think Hamilton would be perfect for us in this scheme. I would play him on the weakside and Ware on the strongside if Spencer was injured.

He would at least be an intriguing backup, who I think would be most suitable in a tampa 2 4-3.

Is that that UDFA everyone went crazy about last year who got like 24 sacks in Division III?

It is something to think about for the FO if he does become available.

Why, we run a 4-3 now and not a 3-4. If anything, we another Darren Smith type outside LB to go along with Sean and Bruce.

I am talking about the safety there bud. Read what I said. When I first saw the headline I thought he was talking about the safety Hamilton.

I was never all that impressed with Adrian Hamilton when he was here last year. He had a bunch of college highlights that were fun, though.

I much prefer we use what bottom-roster spots we've got to churn street free agents like we've done so much of the last few years. That process has really worked well for us, and I see no reason to stop it. If we eventually get lucky and find an OG/OT to develop (Dennis Godfrey, or some other prior-nobody we took a flyer on), it'd be well-worth the cost of passing up on a player we already cut.

Actually, my post wasn't meant to be directed to you- just a general reply to the main post- didn't mean to quote you.

The idea wouldn't be to play him at linebacker... I believe I was pretty clear there.

Raven's are NOT stacked enough to get rid of a guy who can contribute for them next season. He had some great highlights against inferior competition. There's Adrian Hamilton's ALL OVER this league and in free agency. I'm rooting for him but there are thousands of guys out there like him.

No to moving Ware to the strong side in any scenario. He is our best pass rusher and our most dynamic defensive lineman. You don't task him with fighting even more blocks and double teams. Just no.

Adrian Hamilton reminds me of Junior Glymph. Remember him? He made a bunch of plays in preseason, and everyone was made when we cut him.

Never has so much attention been paid to a guy that can't play in the history of the Cowboys.
