Edgerrin James. Boy, one year after leaving for Free agency, and to leave for the Cardinals at that. They have great talent, and everyone wants to get paid their worth, but to miss out on a Super Bowl victory may be tough to swallow.

I'm sure he's consoling himself with mounds of cash and incompetence in Arizona.

I'd hate to be THIS guy this morning.

Well at least T-Rex can say he played in the SB......Not many QBs get that chance. Danny White was a helluva QB and never got the chance....Warren Moon, Dave Krieg, Randall Cunningham.....some very nice QBs that didnt get to go.....but Turnover Rex made it.

Let's be honest.....he played horrible, but at least it was raining that night......Big Ben had a horrible SB in a dome stadium....Jim Kelly was pathetic against us in 92 (and he is a HOF QB). John Elway looked horrible in his first 3 SBs (HOF QB). Joe Theismann against the Raiders stunk it up (HOF QB).

I am not saying Turnover Rex is anywhere near the HOF....just saying if HOFers can have bad games....who is to say Rex cant.

Like I said, he is used to having bad games, he'll get over it. He'll be alright.

One could say this was his 1st year, or at least his first full year playing. I'm not convinced he's all that bad, just inexperienced..

I'm sure Alvin Harper, James Washington, Jim Jeffocat, Mark Stepnoski and a slew of other free agent defectees felt that way in 1995.

Imagine how Danny Noonan must have felt about holding out and getting traded in 1992, talk about egg on his face.

Elway actually played well in his first Superbowl in 1986 against the Giants. A 59.5% completion percentage, 304 yards, 8.2 YPA, 1 TD and 1 INT for a 83.6 QB rating. His next two Superbowls QB ratings were 36.8 and 19.4.

He didn't play as great as many would like to remember when he and the Broncos finally won it all against Green Bay. Completed only 12 of 22(54.5%) passes for 123 yards(5.2 YPA), 0 TDs and 1 INT for a rating of 51.9. Everyone remembers him diving and flipping in the air, which was impressive. The rest of his game was not. The O-line and Terrell Davis' running carried that team in that game.

Elway had a very good game against Atlanta.

Aikman didn't play a full year of football until his 4th year in the league and he won it with a great performance.

speaking of Danny Noonan, his brother Terry was pretty good, he exacted revenge on the Irish mob for killing his best friend

It is hard to believe that guy had 7.5 sacks in 1988 with one interception returned for a TD.

I can't remember. What did Dallas get for him when he was traded to the Packers?
