Dallas added Clark, Williams, and an extra first round pick this year.

Dallas gave up Parsons and a second round pick this year while dumping Mali’s 3 million salary next season.

Great deal! Clark and Williams together don’t quite add up to what Micah’s salary would be.

If going by the entirety of the contract and including a bunch of money that Parsons will never see then yeah, but right now you're projected to take higher hits with both Clark & Williams individually than what Parsons would be. Even 2027 is pretty close for all three guys. Micahs deal really doesnt get super expensive until 2028.

Not a bad trade, imo. Fairly even. We also don't have to pay Micah, but these DTs and 3-4 years older than Micah, however they are under contract for a while, albeit with sizeable cap hits. So, yeah, fairly even.

I will always predict the best outcome, I will never predict the worst because anything can happen. Because delusional GM Jethro thought we could out score teams to win a SB.

In theory we could have kept Micah and made the same trade. However we would then be paying for both Micah and Williams.

But Jerry never would have done that. Part of the reason he is doing it now, is to offset the lose of Parsons and how poor our defense is.

Our D was poor last year and he basically did nothing to improve it and only added to the offense. So this is only a reactionary decision, not a stratigic plan, until proven otherwise.

If you are asking me would I trade Clark and both GB picks back for Micah, my answer would be no, I would not.

I would, in a heartbeat.

Williams is not a rebuild player, he’s a win now player. Match him and Micah and our entire defense would have transformed.
