I'd really like to crush the Lions

Dak just looks different this season he is playing relaxed, that tells me he believes in the playcalling and direction of Schottenheimer. You can tell that Dak has a lot of confidence in his teammates and weapons as well. This Klayton Adams led running game with motion and play action, along with Lamb and Pickens giving defensive coordinators nightmares has Dak very relaxed. I hope this continues.
I just wish we had a Jahmyr Gibbs type at running back. If Dallas had the Lions' RB duo things would be REALLY fun. At the same time I can certainly appreciate Javonte, who has exceeded all my expectations this year. His pass pro is top notch and selfless. Runs like a tank behind his pads. And like Demarco Murray, will give smaller tacklers a smack if they get in his way.

Bs, they got confused for a reason. There were multiple players signaling they were eligible. 68 rubs his chest to report, at the same time 70 is reporting eligible too.

They tried to circumvent the rules and got too cute. Ref was stairing straight at 70. Its on the Lions for creating a really ambiguous situation and then continuing to go for it even after the call.
68 went over (with 58) to the ref and says he reported. That was an oral AND physical signal to report. 73 runs on with hand raised like he usually does to report but says he didn't say he reported. The ruse was to hope the Cowboys got 58 and 68 confused as they threw to 68 on the left as 58 lined up on the right. After the game, the ref straight up avoided a question about what 68 said to him when he approached him. Further, the NFL after the game stated that an oral and physical signal needed to be given to report. According to their reports, 68 did that and 73 did not. Campbell also said he or coaches talked to the refs before the game about what they were going to do. The refs got confused and didn't follow their own rules they produced a video about later. You don't avoid a direct question if you didn't screw up. He screwed up in the same way the Lions were hoping the Cowboys would.

Like I said 70 is rubbing his chest with his hand up, as hes running onto the field. The ref saw him. How is that anyone's fault but the lions for creating an intentionally ambiguous situation and then having it backfire?

Its all right here in the video.

47-9. A reckoning is coming.

None of that covers what I mentioned. Like I said, to report, there needs to be an oral AND physical signal to report, per the NFL themselves. 68 says he did both, 70 says he only did one. The fact that they told the refs what they wanted to do before the game makes it even more egregious.

Again, if you're the ref, why are you avoiding a direct question about it after the game? He messed up and knew it.

A win is a win, and I'll be thankful to escape with a W in any capacity but I'd really like to rout them.

First because of being down 21-0, and then going to the wire with the chiefs. Yes we won, no there aren't any style points, but neither were decisive victories even if they were impressive, and I'd like to really put a stamp on this win streak by blowing out the Lions to give the guys a bunch of confidence, and talking heads something to suck on.

And lastly because of how they ran up the score on us last time, hopefully there's no love lost and we put belt to a...

But again, any win i'm happy with. A whooping and I'm ecstatic
The lion is in GB

Think of it as an opportunity to embarrass them.

They will be calling plays as if it were a Madden game as usual, but it's not like last year when we were banged up and without Dak..

This year they're more banged up than us (St. Brown, La Porta, plus their starting G and CB), and they'll be without Ben Johnson.

Whoever the backup guard is better not be a rookie. QWs coming for his lunch money.
I would like to see Dallas play their A game in all 3 phases from start to finish. I watched the lions play Green Bay on Thanksgiving and Goff did not look good to me throwing the football. I expect Quinnen Williams and this Cowboys front 7 to make Goff miserable and keep Jamir Gibbs under 70 yards rushing, and this Dallas offense to put up a 40 burger.

Who did the ref announce as eligible? That is key because that is the one that the D knows to look out for. They are not going to cover a guy who was not announced as being an eligible receiver. Also the offense knows who was announced, so why throw it to someone who wasn’t announced? Did they think the refs would call that a TD? Strange.

What do they have against Dallas other than their own error by not properly reporting that player eligible in 2023? Too clever by half.
Yep. It's absurd. They are mad at the Cowboys because the referees wouldn't help them cheat the Cowboys. You would think that they would be mad at the officials even though the officials ruled the proper way. They have no gripe at all with Dallas, but somehow convinced themselves that it was the Cowboys' fault. I want to run up a 60 burger on them for that.

A speed back would be huge and make this Dallas offense even more potent. A key to this Dallas at Detroit matchup Thursday night will be keeping Jahmir Gibbs contained under 70 yards or so.

Forget it dude. That's his crusade. He will absolutely justify every bad call against Dallas, and back up any Dallas opponent by claiming they did get screwed.

Yeah, he's just stoked the clapper's not over there on the sideline. This is starting to feel like a new regime.

Give me a break 70 is running onto the field with one hand up and the other patting his chest, with the ref looking directly at him. In what world is that anything other than then trying to circumvent the rules?

I guarantee you their little pre-game briefing didn't cover mocking a fake ineligible player to that extent.

You blame the refs all you want. They got caught up in their own scheme. That is squarely on Detroit.

I find it ironic this is the ONE time you dont side with the refs, when it actually supports the Cowboys argument.

Again, you're conveniently avoiding the point that a player needs both an audible and physical signal that he's reporting. The NFL reiterated this via video ..... after they didn't follow their own rules. I don't know if you're pretending not to know what Detroit was up to but it was pretty obvious what the plan was. The ref goofed in the moment and then avoided a question about it after the game. Not guilty, right? Stop it.

And I support truth anywhere. During the game or after the game. The fact that it typically comes in the face of fans whining about rules they don't even know is coincidental, trust me.

Complete troll job and the video is there. Its not just a "highlight." You can see it happen.

The entire purpose of reporting eligibility is so the defense has the opportunity to make adjustments.

Detroit screwed themselves by trying to pull a fast one. If the refs got confused its because Detroit intentionally made it confusing.

Im not avoiding that point at all. You're pretending you know what 70 did or didn't say. These guys cant hear snap counts and you think we can rely on a player yelling as hes running to his spot?

The one thing the video clearly shows is 70 absolutely signaled he was eligible. I dont know what was or wasn't said, and neither do you.

Again, shame on Detroit for intentionally making it confusing. You mentioned they spoke with the officials before the game about the play.

Do you think they informed the officials they'd have one player fake signaling eligibility?
