A cowboys win. Against any of the 16 teams its equally good.
I agree with this statement! I will also list what my "Football Fan Friends", & I call our yearly "Prediction(s)". Ok, so the NFL football fan "Friends" I have come with wide variety as we have that weird "Bandwagon" friend who says he's a fan of the game & pretty much roots for whoever makes it to the Super Bowl then picks whoever is favored. From there I have a Seattle Seahawk's Fan & A San Fransisco Fortyniner Fan, those two are not surprising as we live almost equidistant from the Hawks, Niners & Raiders, homes. I'm the anomaly, being a Cowboy's Fan & growing up in a household that saw both my "Late" Grandfather & my quite recently "Late" Earthly Father as the biggest Niner fans! This led to increased animosity & teen angst when I chose to be a Cowboy's Fan at the age of 5, with the 90's Dynasty happening during my Junior & Senior years of Highschool then their 3rd Super Bowl coming my Sophomore year in college, 208 miles north of home, in Eugene, Oregon! Shortly after that year of college, a unique ritual began. My longtime friends, more like a brotherhood, began a tradition. We would predict both our "Primary Guesses" OR = 2 MAIN Predictions of (Who Vs. Who) in the upcoming Super Bowl followed by the "Secondary Choice", then, our "Dark Horse" picks or two teams that "Could" emerge facing off in the Super Bowl! So, this seemed like the perfect thread to share what I shared with them, also just to note, we also have a "Change As Much As You Like" Up until the kickoff of the very first game week one, so if any of your picks suffer a significant injury to a skill position or multiple injuries along say an offensive line, to the point you feel it is devastating enough to change your pick you can up until the deadline, again that's up until the very 1st kickoff of the very 1st game of the season. Ok lots of words, I know, but for now, & until the kickoff between The Pittsburgh Steelers & The New England Patriots on Thursday September 10th, 2015, here we go!
My MAIN PREDICTION: The Dallas Cowboys = 44 Vs. The New England Patriots = 20
My SECONDARY PICK: The Seattle Seahawks = 34 Vs. The New England Patriots = 17
My DARK HORSE(S): The St. Louis Rams = 27 Vs. The Buffalo Bills = 20
In each instance there is a full playoff picture at work when I look at the league as a whole. From who was released, picked up, traded, drafted, signed both elsewhere or resigned, down to retiring as we've recently seen 1st hand with Josh Brent & of course key players returning from injury, like Sean Lee. With those things taken into consideration, below, is the overall playoff picture I currently have put together & I'LL only change it if there are significant issues that befall a team as we head toward the season's start!
NFC SEEDING
_________________________________________________________________________________
( 1 ) Dallas Cowboys = 14 - 2 1st Round = BYE
( 2 ) Seattle Seahawks = 13 - 3 1st Round = BYE
( 3 ) Green Bay Packers = 11 - 5 Vs. ( 6 ) Arizona Cardinals = 10 - 6
( 4 ) Atlanta Falcons = 9 - 7 Vs. ( 5 ) Detroit Lions = 10 - 6

AFC SEEDING
_________________________________________________________________________________
( 1 ) New England Patriots = 12 - 4 1st Round = BYE
( 2 ) Indianapolis Colts = 12 - 4 1st Round = BYE
( 3 ) Pittsburg Steelers = 11 - 5 Vs. ( 6 ) Houston Texans = 9 - 7
( 4 ) Buffalo Bills = 10 - 6 Vs. ( 5 ) Denver Broncos = 10 - 6

* The above prediction sees first the Atlanta Falcons clawing there way through another poor showing from the NFC South, although I'm projecting a slightly better year from the NFC South division, it's winner the Atlanta Falcons by my guesstimation will hold out with a lead they gain, through, a mid-season push, outlasting the other three teams, this time just edging out Carolina as Carolina did last season winning the division right at the bitter end. The result will be the 4th seed & although having a poorer record than the Lions, I foresee them losing at home hosting the Detroit Lions, on Wildcard Weekend. I believe a shock will be had in Green Bay where all (Of Us) Dallas Cowboy's Fans along with the world will not see the "Revenge Game" so many of us would like to see, as in that shocking fashion, I believe in the closing minutes a heroic defensive play will seal Green Bay's fate at home when Arizona either intercepts or recovers a fumble, allowing that turnover to give them three snaps to run out the clock preserving what I think will be less than a 7 point margin! I think Aaron Rodgers will be in full control of a game winning 2 minute hurry up drive, that will ultimately turn loss to the Cardinals. Therefore instead of the revenge game hoped for, I see Dallas hosting the Divisional Round against Arizona. A game where Arizona gets off to a quick 10-0 advantage but then gets summarily rocked, scoring just one more field goal in a lopsided affair! One that will have Dallas headed to the NFC Championship Game after putting up 52 points in 3 & a half quarters beating Arizona 52-13. Meanwhile I could see Seattle dismantling the Lions in Seattle after which sets the stage for what will be the best game of the year, yes, better than the Super Bowl. I believe the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME will be one for the ages. I believe it will be a very close contest with Dallas "JUST" pulling out the victory, with a small taste of vindication. I believe Dez & Romo will connect on a very similar route to the "Overturned" Catch from the last divisional playoff game in Green Bay! However, this time the play is a little further, I'd say a good 45+ yards in the air, Dez comes down, changing "NOTHING" although this time the ball doesn't even move & he scores. I think it will be challenged & that will be critical as Pete Carroll's Red Challenge flag will be thrown, due to it being outside of 2 minutes. I'd say 2 minutes & some change, it will "NOT" be overturned, Dallas forges ahead by 4. With just over 2 minutes to go, Russell Wilson & company go into a fast paced, 2 minute drill but with no timeouts as they will have lost the last one on the failed challenge! After 1 play the 2 minute warning stops the clock for the last time. Two 1st downs later, at the 50 yard line Dallas forces 4th & 4. A "Sack-Fumble" recovered by D-Lawrence, reminiscent to the one he had to end the Dallas Vs. Detroit contest in last season's playoffs, ends what will be one of the best games ever played! Again, I believe it will be a better game than the Super Bowl! The final score, sees, The Dallas Cowboys Victorious 17 - 13 OVER The Seattle Seahawks in Dallas! Dallas will then go on to face the New England Patriots, where they will pummel them in what's being called Super Bowl 50, instead of the continued Roman Numeral System, which would mean Super Bowl "L" =
I've heard they are ditching the Roman Numeral System this year! Although I think "Super Bowl L" is fitting at least in my opinion the "L" will belong to New England as Dallas will hand the "L" to them in a flat beat down, my projection, barring huge issues like not having a "Bell Cow Running Back", I've got:
The Dallas Cowboys OVER The New England Patriots 44 - 20

So, as I said, in all this diatribe of dribble & pedantic drabble, are nothing more than my guesstimating! This all hinges on a knifes edge anyways, as I fully believe, that it's less likely one player could affect a team, as much as a couple of offensive lineman can! However, I've (& we've) seen what happens when Romo goes out, so one player can make a difference, which is why I'm as concerned as I am about not having a proven, every down, running back to anchor & solidify the rag tag bunch we currently have! It may just be me but I think we need a much better than average RB, to run behind the behemoth O-LINE, Jerry & Company have assembled! Enjoy the read, all two hours of it, LOL!
Oh & Of Course, GO COWBOYS!
