We have his Edleman in Beasley, and we have his drop off security blanket in Dunbar. We also have two very good tight ends as well.

And while I am unwilling to declare Tony Romo Tom Brady, Romo is going to have a lot of weapons and a TON of time to make plays.

for 4-6 weeks. We need to run and control the clock and not have many dropped balls and turnovers. I believe in number 9 he can do it.

Romo lead the offense to 2 quick 4th qrt TD the last to win the game, Yes Dallas can overcome the loss of Dez for 4 to 6 weeks.

Romo can and will do it. The only elite receivers he has had in his career would be TO for two seasons and then Dez the last 3 years. Miles Austin? Solid player but Romo made him appear to be elite for a couple seasons. Our offense will be fine, maybe not as explosive but good enough to hopefully be 4-2 or better when we get our players back.

Yes, they can. Notice Williams picked up his game once Dez went down. There was some foreshadowing when Broaddus and Romo both mentioned BEFORE the game that not having Dez during training camp and offseason helped him get a lot more work with the other guys. We will see moving forward.

I was and still am curious if Escobar got hurt. It seemed down the stretch that it was Williams, Beasley, Street, Dunbar and Witten in the passing game where I thought Escobar might have been a great matchup, especially near the end zone.

Tom Brady has one of the most dominant pass catchers in the game to throw to in Rob Gronk so this whole narrative about him doing it without any receivers is laughable. No Gronk and the Patriots are average.

I do believe the Cowboys can win without Dez, though. It's going to much more difficult but not impossible.

T-Will as the #1 scares me. When a team can game plan for you without having your best offensive weapon, that's not good.

Fixed it for you.

Tony can, but FYI Gronk is as elite of a pass catcher as it gets in this league

Exactly. I think Tony can do this much better than Brady. Tom goes to crap when Gronk is out. Romo makes Miles Austin a star.

Uh, no.

And Tom Brady has made Danny Amendola, Julius Eldemen, Troy Brown, Jabbar Gaffney, David Patten, Brandon Tate, Deion Branch, Donte Stallworth and Wes Welker stars.

Would it be safe to say Street and T Will on the outside? Also will we be looking for a WR to sign just in case of emergency?

I have no worries about Romo moving the ball down the field without Dez it's the whole putting the ball into the back of the end zone thing that concerns me now

I expect a few 16-13 type games in our immediate future...

None of the bolded were starts. Danny Amendola has accomplished more outside of NE than he has in his time there. Wes Welker wasn't made by Brady. There is a reason the Pats gave up a fairly high pick to get him. He's good. Edelman is good too, but not enough to be a #1. He's a good #2, chain mover, that gets a lot of short stuff. I'm still not sure I'd say he's a star. When Brady doesn't have Gronk, Moss, Welker, he usually struggles. There is a reason he had an 88.4 passer rating prior to 2007. And why he was again in the 80's in 2013.

Romo is involved in the game planning now. He's been doing come-backs for years, but as Chris pointed out last night, he controlled the plays and has much more flexibility in that respect now per Linehan particularly in those situations. He has a set of plays he can choose from.

And despite cheating, even the Patriots go hurry-up or pick up the pace, when their offense stagnates or depending on the situation.

And the Patriots system makes many of their WRs effective. They run plenty of pick plays to get their WRs open.

First, please define "star" for me. And Miles was never a No. 1 receiver. Heck, he couldn't even stay healthy. He had two good years, and that was about it.

Second, Deion Branch and Troy Brown were about as herald as Miles Austin. So was Wes Welker, who played for Miami but reached stratosphere status with New England. No one really paid attention to Amendola until he started playing for the Pats.

Sorry, but Brady has made more wide receivers "stars" than Romo has. With all due respect, the comparison is laughable. Romo is a great quarterback. But we don't need to "hype" him by manufacturing ridiculous comparisons. Just let him stand on his own. No need to try to make him better than Brady.

Check your facts. You're just plain wrong. Was it Amendola's 200 yards last season that put him over the top into stardom?
