And we thought we had the core for a Championship run...

I don't know anymore...without a healthy backfield to rely on and with no recievers in any top 40 stat and Romo's 74.1 passer rating and 21st in NFL.

Thanks...I've been down for several years. I want to be positive but am concerned we don't have the team to take us to the ultimate level and have always felt Romo is NOT the answer.

He just provided us a false sense of hope in 2007.I keep waiting for him to prove me wrong.

He's become the Jekyl & Hyde of QB's. It's time for Hyde today.

Perhaps poor choice of words. What I meant was...is the season lost? and what confidence would we have for the rest of year?

the season would be over with a 2-3 record. we could only lose 3 more games with a horrifically tough schedule remaining. i wouldn't bench romo, but i would play backups for most of our skill positions to see how they are. now that i think about it. we wouldn't really be worse off with backups at our skill positions...how sad.

Looks like to me, after reading this thread, your mind is already made up. For me, I'll take it game by game.

I will be on the edge of my seat as I have for 45 years now...but I feel the issue must be discussed. Why is Romo bashing off limits?
In 89 & 90 I attended all games with hope but I don't feel we are headed in the same direction.

As much as we loved what Tom brought us for three decades...we felt it had passed him by and feel the same now. So since we have invested our future with Romo is only natural to question this decision as we do all of this teams direction. We are critics and lovers and have only one goal. Championships!

We were so excited when Jerry and Jimmy came aboard and took the abuse even on the road attending this eras inaugral game in a 28-0 defeat at the Superdome. They don't come much more diehard than us.We feel it gives us the right to complain like any faithful customer who patronages their favorite establishment. Most business want the comments bad or good.

Well, I suppose you can ignore my post. I feel it is an issue many want to ignore or deny.It's like I have feared. Romo is untouchable with many of this eras fan base.
