do we go right back to Dak too when Romo starts throwing picks and has an off night?

If Romo goes 2-23 on third down and has 3 consecutive games under 200 yards passing..............yes, I would make a change as well.

Maybe we can try the buttfumbler, maybe he can figure out how to convert a third down maybe once or twice a game.

Well Dakota choked like a dog with a division title sitting in the lockerroom

If its his team, then he owns the results.
Did Romo ever choke games and he owned it,Dakota will do the same.
We have entered the new era the Dakota era there is no turning back.
Di you really think we should go 15-1

By the way Dakota is a rookie with all the back ground information we all know and have praised him for.

And so does another QB we are both very familiar with, eh?

I was responding to the guy who said this was Dakota's team..............I said if that was true, then he owns the results.

See, I don't care if its Dak playing or Romo playing, I just expect competent QB play and going 2-23 on third down is not getting it done.

Now if Dak turns it around against Tampa, great..........if he cant, then take a seat and let somebody else try.

Seems like you are making a lot of excuse for why Dak cant get it done............interesting.

romo cant get it done anymore because he breaks with a hit. he can't stay on the field. sure he makes better reads than dak and knows this offense better than the rook but he cant stay on field.

Dak didn't show the poise that he normally shows tonight. This is two weeks in a row, but of course that is against two top defenses.

I think part of this was on the coaching staff. Our play calling was the same all night long. Not imaginative at all.

Dak should have used his legs some tonight. He appeared very indecisive tonight. Hopefully that is an aberration but that's two weeks in a row.

Yea, he looked like a deer in the headlights out there and wasn't sure what to do with the ball..........It was like the stage was too big for him tonight, I don't know.

Just saying that Dak's numbers the last 2 games are horrible, if he puts up another stinker next week against Tampa, I think the team has to seriously consider going to Romo.

We cant choke away a season like this and if Dak has been figured out (blitz him and cover all short routes and make him beat you deep and odds are he cant).

I guarantee that teams are not going to be blitzing Romo like that. Just something to consider if Dak has basically 3 suck games in a row.

I have to say, I agree. I love Dak and admire him for what he's done and am glad to have him as our future. However, he's a rookie and there are going to be growing pains. We can not sit back and suffer those growing pains during a playoff run when we have Romo sitting on the bench. I feel that we have to start Romo if Dak struggles again against the Bucs.

My reason for replying to this post is to say that I have seen several personal attacks against "Romosexuals" and while I think it's weak and childish to do so, I'm not a Romosexual. I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan and have been my entire life. When Romo was well enough to start, I didn't want to bench Dak because I felt we should go with the hot hand and didn't want to upset the apple cart for fear of losing whatever magic we had going. Well it's obvious that he's struggled for several games now and I feel it's time to put Romo in.

It's my opinion. Not yours. If you are so insecure and weak that you cannot afford a fellow fan to have a different opinions than yours, then you have issues. We don't all have to have the same thoughts or opinions about our team as you do! The fact that some of you are outright calling names and saying Romo supporters are pathetic shows that you have a weak constitution. You don't need everyone to think just like you for your thoughts and opinions to be valid. You are able to stand on your own and have your own thoughts.

Personally, I don't care what you call me because I can promise you my mom has called me worse. But the bully/mob mentality has run off several good posters who refuse to post because they get tired of getting nailed for their opinions not being the same as yours. So grow up and realize that not everyone thinks the same as you do and get over yourself.

We are all fans here and we all want the Cowboys to get back to the SB we just happen to think they should go about it in different ways.

Edit to say my post was not directed towards you, @Beast_from_East just the first part lol

Did you guys listen to Garrett? He said after the game that he likes very much where we are with Dak when asked about Romo. He said it very firmly. It didn't sound like it was on the radar. Im not gonna underestimate Jerry screwing this up though.

its called diplomacy

Excellent post.

Just ignore the idiot posters who call you out for supporting Romo. The main problem is that most of them have been against Romo and when Dak started winning they proclaimed him the greatest thing since sliced bread and the he is not a loser like Romo.

I too was against putting Romo back into the lineup since Dak had the hot hand, but that hand is now ice cold and the pressure is starting to get to him. We cannot go 2-24 on third downs and expect a deep playoff run, just isn't going to happen. Problem is that too many people have agendas now and it doesn't matter if Dak throws 5 pics against Tampa, they will excuse his play or say that Romo would have thrown just as many.

In another thread, a poster just used the excuse that Romo didn't win the week 17 elimination games during the 8-8 seasons so if Dak chokes away HFA it doesn't mean anything because Romo is a choker also. See what I mean? They are already using Romo's miscues as excuses for Dak now and why they are against putting Romo back in, even if Dak continues to struggle.

Y'all crazy. Tony is my boy, I rock the authentic #9 every time I go out for the game. Even Tony had bad games.

Vikings are a great defense, Giants are good and definitely capable of playing at a high level. Dak tried to be tough wearing short sleeves against them, and got a case of the yips after getting pressured in cold weather. Pretty dumb move but the dude is a rookie.

He also has the longest consecutive win streak in franchise history so he's obviously doing something right. He's a tough kid, i actually like the fact he's facing some adversity because i think he's the type of dude that will learn from it

It's not Tony time yet. Give him a chance.

As much as it pains me to say this. Since I'm a huge Dak fan, and wanted Romo out.

We need to go with Romo in the playoffs
