If Dallas goes 4-0 this December, will we finally stop hearing about "December woes?"

Cowboys vs. Colts will be an intensely difficult battle, but it's winnable. And should Dallas get past Indy, a 4-0 December looms as a real possibility indeed.

So, now, if Dallas goes 4-0 this December, will we finally stop hearing about "December woes" from the media the next time December rolls around (in 2015)? Or will they still find a way to work it in anyway? ("Up until LAST December, in 2014, Tony Romo was a choke artist in December?")

I'm sure it will not fade that easy but I like how guys like Dez and this team are dealing with it when asked about December and that is they are not paying attention to it, their focus in on the next game.

The "December woes" stuff is an offshoot of the "Romo is a choker" narrative. If we go 4-0 and lose in the divisional round, the narrative will be still be about Romo's inability to win in the playoffs. Less severe, but still prevalent.

None of this goes away until they win the Super Bowl. If we are so lucky, then the story will be....Can Romo and the Cowboys do it again. Never ending cycle. It is kind of like those books you read as a kid. You can choose which path you want....A, B, C, D to get a different outcome. I feel as if the Media has a hand book ready for Cowboys related stories...and Romo stories too!

The sports networks are waiting for the Cowboys to lose one game so they can cue up the 15 minute lead stories talking about "another Cowboys collapse".

No. If they go 4-0, then they will talk about their lack of post-season success. If they lose at any point in the playoffs then it will revert back to Romo not being able to win in big games. If they win the Superbowl, they will talk about how Romo could not do it until he had Murray and the run game.

I think that as fans we just have to enjoy the season and not worry about such things.

I think Romo gets a pass if they win it all. He would have to pull a Ben Rothlisberger (in his Super Bowl against Seattle) for Romo to get criticized for making it but not really contributing.

I think it's pretty well-documented that the running game has made Romo and even more efficient quarterback.

Interestingly enough, Romo's narrative was once Peyton's until he won a Super Bowl.

I think Romo will get more credit than that. Romo finally "overcoming his choking ways and winning a ring" will be a more attractive story-line than "Romo got a running game."

I said it few weeks ago. The last three games could erase alot of national perception of Romo & Cowboys. The win over Eagles was major step forward but this is far from being over. Lets see how they respond now that they see light to playoffs.

4-0? I'm only worried about the Colts at the moment.

Going 4 - 0 in December will definitely not erase all of our past December woes since we have had them for so long, but it will definitely be a good start. I am doing my best to not get too excited about this team. I am extremely happy we are doing well but I still have to have reality checks and realize who our coach is which quickly brings me back to Earth.

Perhaps next year, some sports announcers will say, "Up until 2014, the Cowboys were a terrible team in December. So will they continue to carry their pre-2014 losing ways up into this 2015 season?"

We will never hear the end of December Woes until we win the Super Bowl. Romo will never throw off his choker image until we win a Super Bowl.

Such is life as a Cowboy.
