Then he never will. Refusing to run the ball makes no sense at all....
Asiata, the 3rd string RB for Minnesota ran the ball 30 times today for barely 50 yards, but it slows the pass rush and makes play action work. 1.7 yards per carry.

Murray goes for a 7.4 average, 134, but gets only 18 carries with a lead....while Romo throws 48 passes from the lead!

I don't care that Romo audibles out of a run on that key INT with a 5-point lead....that's who he is...a gunslinger. Garrett took over sending the plays in so that he could be in Tony's ear for this very reason! Did he remember to say, "Tony...we want them to use that final TO, stick with the run"? Ha....of course not.

I have never wanted a coach fired....that makes me an idiot....I loved the offense run by Chan Gailey...I liked Campo...I thought Wade got a raw deal when his gutless players quit on him.....but Garrett, Callahan, and most of this staff has to go!

Hire a real NFL coach....every week, Callahan and Garrett talk about running more and it doesn't happen.

Pass the ball 45+ times! and forget play action! expect your OL to get beaten or fooled more, expect more drops, more tipped all's, more INTs....it's a simple freakin' fact of percentages.

Murray and our OL keep trying to take this team over and dominate games, but the geniuses who want to talk about "numbers and looks" instead of "enforcing your will" keep getting in the way.

Finish the season...however it turns out is fine with me, but this coaching staff has to go...to keep them would be complete insanity.

He won't be fired while this team is mathematically alive. Just don't see it happening.

Epic meltdown for sure chuck.
I think change has to come after this ..it was nearly impossible to lose that game... But we found a way

I understand that throwing the ball more leads to higher opportunity of throwing INTs. That's simple math. But it's WHEN Romo throws INTs. If you were gonna tell me before the game that Romo was gonna throw 2 INTs on 48 passes, I would say okay. But if you were to tell me they'd both come at the end of the game......

You can't fire the coach at this point while we're in it. I hate Garrett and others, but now is not the time to start firing people. Well except Jones himself, he can walk out any time and I won't be mad.

Its going to be a real kick in the gut when we beat the Commanders next week and the eagles lose to the bears. We could have had this locked up and no one would be talking about firing Garrett.

Yeah, I saw the stat line for that game and remember thinking to myself: Hmmmm... It is a matter of committment. I have always thought that the triumverate combination of Garrett, Callahan and Romo was too much power consolidated in the passing game. No real counterbalance. Romo has culpability here. He was given free reign this year and while he has been mostly good, games like this are on the head coach to not be dragged kicking and screaming down the stairs by a quarterback who gets a little too rich on the fuel mixture. No way in hell with Murray's performance do you get caught throwing nearly 50 times on a Sunday. Romo should never be north of about 35...Garrett's place is to step in and attenuate. I have said before that Romo is as good as he's going to get and his surrounding cast must simply get better.

there should have never been an end of game scenario where we could have lost, not after that first half

The GM never loses his job, so would it really be that surprising if Garrett is still here in 2014?

Garrett and Romo need to be shown the floor... Romo's audibles are the worst I've ever seen in football!

With a 23 point half time lead at home to a team with a backup QB.................there is no excuse in the world for losing that game............none...........I dont care who the hell audibled to what.............you have no excuse to lose that game.

Garrett should be fired for that alone.

Averaged7.5 per carry. Pathetic Murray should have run it 25 30 times
