At one point I was fooling myself that Garrett was over the hump and over his poor clock management. Not anymore. I'm officially on the fire Garrett bandwagon now, not that Jerry's next marionette will be any better.

The problem with Garrett is he doesnt hold players accountable during the game. We saw the same thing with Wade too. The next coach has to have the respect of the players and be a prescense on the sideline.. I really dont think any player feels threatened by Garrett and that starts with your team leaders Romo, Witten, etc. I'm sure they like him, but just see him as a baby sitter without any real power.

No. The problem with Garrett is he's a high school quality coach that was GIVEN the position with an NFL franchise without ever earning it. He's a terrible coach and everyone but Jerry Jones knows it.

Shanahan is trying to get fired and Garrett is trying to not get fired.

Shanahan's offensive unit might get into the 40's and the skins d owns Garrett.

So despite Jerry being the true cancer on this team he cannot and should not justify bringing this coach back next season. Garrett has not earned it in any way. The team has made no progress with his "process" nonsense. It is in fact regressing.

Actually, what I think you meant to say is that many have been fired for doing much more than what Garrett has done. The bar is so low in Dallas at present.

There is no guarantees with this team about anything. They are playing a Commanders team playing for pride, and probably looking forward to raining on Dallas' parade. Cousins looked rusty, but also threw for 382 yards and 3 TD's. He could do the same thing against us, maybe even throw for way more. Plus it's a cold weather game and this current Dallas bunch historically does not play well in cold weather games.
