He won't be fired while this team is mathematically alive. Just don't see it happening.

He won't be fired right now anyway. He's Jerry's Golden Boy and will be given the courtesy of finishing out the season and a couple of weeks to let things cool down before making the move.

Jerry Jones on Jason Garrett: “I was firm for one night at that time and that doesn’t call for me having to be firm every morning I get up."

This is exactly what Ed Werder meant during a ESPN segment after Jason's confirmation.

To rephrase Werder when he quoted Jerry, "What I say is actually only meant to be about that specific point in time".

Yeah, I saw the stat line for that game and remember thinking to myself: Hmmmm... It is a matter of committment. I have always thought that the triumverate combination of Garrett, Callahan and Romo was too much power consolidated in the passing game. No real counterbalance. Romo has culpability here. He was given free reign this year and while he has been mostly good, games like this are on the head coach to not be dragged kicking and screaming down the stairs by a quarterback who gets a little too rich on the fuel mixture. No way in hell with Murray's performance do you get caught throwing nearly 50 times on a Sunday. Romo should never be north of about 35...Garrett's place is to step in and attenuate. I have said before that Romo is as good as he's going to get and his surrounding cast must simply get better.

@ "I have said before that Romo is as good as he's going to get and his surrounding cast must simply get better.[/quote]", this is probably so.

Jerry needs to go take his meds and go to bed. That's what I'm planning. Pretty sick tonite.

I'm ready for a new offense and defense. I feel we get outcoached so much it isn't funny any more and I am tired of trying to defend the ignorance I see on a weekly basis from this team.

I'm with with let's join a twelve step program

Jerry's only loyalty is to himself as GM. End of story. Garrett will be gone if they don't make it. He paid Romo a ton. Coaches must go.

I wanted this jerk-off to succeed so badly.

I am upset about the REALITY of our team.

I can't go into it right now- you all pretty much know anyways, so what's the point?

Those jerks... especially that one BIG jerk at the top.

Thank you for making sure you have the satisfaction of stroking yourself at millions of fans expense. Weekly.
You deserve the lowest of the low and unfortunately we're dragged down with you like the anchor you are.

We're not much better than the... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Commander's... shudder...

Sometimes I do wish I could become a fan of another team.

Alas, I cannot: I am doomed to be intertwined with this team til the end of my days, but Damn.

I want my team to put a good product on the field! Against all-comers! Here's to another drink...

Garrett will be here next year. Jerruh groomed his Red Headed step child from the get go. Remember when Garrett-Top turned down the coaching jobs in Baltimore & Atlanta? Jones had his hands all over that. This is Jerruh's guy, 100%, without a doubt. Jerruh wants this guy to succeed almost as bad as he wants to win another SB.

I can see Old Man Kiffin getting the boot along with 90% of the coaching staff, but not his little Red Headed Prince.

You know things are bad when the Garrett defenders go into hiding.

What actually remains of them anyway.

It looks like the crushing reality of his failure is finally setting in.

The 3 Garrett supporters left are avoiding this site like the plague tonight.............................LOL

When you get crap thrown in your face, kinda hard to pretend its cake..................................I think the realization is starting to set in that Garrett should be coaching in Division 3, not the NFL.

Dont be so sure he will not sacrifice Garrett if the fans demand it.....................even Jerry cant condone this crap going on.
