That could be an argument for keeping Sherman as the WR coach. He has more direct contact with Terrell than the OC does.
I agree. The fact that they gave him the asst. HC title to prevent him from going elsewhere as on OC is more evidence of that.mickgreen58;1814606 said:I don't think it was Jerry's lack of enthusiasm for Sparano that made him go out and get Jason Garrett.
Thank you! Wade is the one that has this team functioning as a TEAM and being responsible to each other. The whole attitude and the fact that the team still seems fresh as opposed to beaten down mentally and physically is due to Wade's philosophy and techniques.Right now, I am more than happy with Wade Phillips and I am not say you are doing this, but alot of fans seems to want to push Phillips out the door when his 2 Year Contract is up.
The Boys are 11-1 and have a bright future, and no freakin way do I want to take a chance, try to fix something that isn't broken and promote Garrett when Wade is doing just fine.
I think I would go with Sparano as OC if JC leaves. Our offense under him last year was very good, especially if you consider that Parcells didn't let him open up the offense as much as Wade has allowed. One other thing about our offense last year that I don't see brought up, is that this year the defense is causing more turnovers than we saw last year. That gives the offense the ball in a better field position than otherwise, and makes it easier for the offense to score more points.
I hope JC does not leave and I believe that our offense is better under him than it would be under anyone else on our staff. He certainly uses Owens and other weapons in more advantageous ways than we have seen in the past.
