If GB wins the SB?

How will you feel if GB wins the next two games in convincing fashion? I'll be even more frustrated about this loss, but I'll also be more encouraged for the future. OK, I'm done posting for a while.
This always cheers me up!

I hope the Falcons smoke GB. Hate them more than Eagles at the moment and that says a lot. Tired of all the bounces going their way.

How did you feel when 26 year old Romo took over for Bledsoe in the 7th week of the season, taking us to the playoffs and making the Pro Bowl? How bout the next year, his first full year as a starter, when he led us to a 13-3 record and we barely lost to a Giants team that went on to beat the 18-0 Patriots in the Super Bowl? I'm sure a lot of us thought the future was bright heading into that 2008 season. We followed it up going to the playoffs only 2 out of the next 8 years. Sorry to sound so cynical, but my point is, there are no guarantees in the NFL. The Commanders had a QB/RB rookie duo of RGIII/Morris who put up a 100+ QB rating and 1600+ yards respectively, like our duo, and that bright future didn't last long. You have to take advantage of the opportunities you get in the NFL. Rodgers has only won one Super Bowl despite being so great. It's not guaranteed for him every year. Brees misses the playoffs more than he makes it. He got a ring though. Eli got two even though the Giants seem to always be out of the playoffs. Besides the Patriots, there are no guarantees in the NFL. We don't know if we'll be 13-3 ever again during the Dak era.

Dude -- the refs make bad calls against every team in every game. Yes, some calls went against the Cowboys. But they got some calls too -- for example, they got away with multiple unflagged defensive holdings that no reasonable observer could argue were not penalties.

The refs are not why the Cowboys lost. They had every opportunity to win, but just didn't make the right coaching decisions and/or plays on the field when they needed to.

Let's not be poor losers here. The Cowboys displayed the heart and mettle of a champion fighting back like they did. They have a bright future. But they also got beat fair and square, by a HoF QB at the top of his game, and a clutch kicker who came through twice. No shame in that at all. But there is shame in whining, IMO.

Agree. Atlanta is gonna wreck them. On grass, I give GB a chance. But on turf.....

Atlanta beat them 33-32 @ Atlanta earlier this year. It was much closer than you'd expect.

If Rodgers plays like he has the past two weeks I call it a 50/50 game.

Dallas has a better defense than Atlanta. I could see Atlanta win this 45-42 or something like crazy like that.

If Green Bay wins the SB it will just make more like 07, having a team we beat during the regular season go on to win the SB. If Green Bay and Pittsburgh end up in the SB, we'll get to watch 2 teams that we beat during the regular season play for the championship....YEE HAW!

I still don't understand why they went empty on the third and three. With Zeke in the backfield you have a run pass option, play action threat and of course a great pass blocker.

I've hated that play call ever since Linehan took over. Empty backfield is the dumbest thing you could possibly do, You're letting the defense know that there is zero chance of running.

And the PI non-calls where the GB receivers were mugged aren't a joke too? Try and be somewhat reasonable and see that not every mistake went against the Cowboys. And NONE of them cost them the win.

Insufferable? That's what whiny sore losers are. Referees are far from the reason that this franchise has not even sniffed the NFC championship game (let alone a SB) in more than two decades . . . and counting. The mirror is the best place to start with most things in life.

We've "sniffed" the NFC championship game 2 out of the last 3 years.

If you're going to be butt hurt, at least be reasonable. Or go sit on an ice pack.
