When you're treading water in this league, you're losing ground. We've been doing that the past 3 seasons, and I think the talent level actually lost ground this year.

Of course, everyone on BaDD Radio was careful to say with or without Romo... because if you think he's going to miss any time, then that obviously affects your prediction. If we have to go with Weeden for extended periods of time the drop off in the talent level from last year to this year increases dramatically.

I would have to bet the under if playing with real money, but wouldn't consider it a slam dunk. The offense could carry the team farther than that.

Giants go 7-9, play Dallas close in both games, have more injuries than Dallas last year.....but somehow Dallas is just a lock to win both games against them this year.

SMH. Like that's even all that great. "Won't be the worst team in the weakest division, so at least we got that going for us".

This was a conversation a few minutes ago on the Ticket. Bob Sturm, after picking the Cowboys to basically make the playoffs/win 10 games for the last 3 or 4 years, took the under.

I think I'm in agreement with him. If I had money riding on it, I'd probably take the under.

I think that would be a horrible prediction. It is very unlikely that we tie someone this year, and even if we did it does not count as half of a win.

Over. I think the running game is going to help us win a few more games than last year. I think the defense will be better as well. Anyone who's basing their prediction on the first pre-season game of the year is not thinking straight. 5 starters missing from the defense and the others only played a series. No game planning, just basic defensive scheme.

It's irrelevant. They are not Super Bowl contenders this season. They need to structure the roster to peak in 2015. I don't care if keeping stopgap veterans wins an extra game. Keep all young players with upside regardless of the 2014 win/loss record.

Just focus on how good the offense can be this season. I'll put the over/under at 5th ranked offense in the league.

Exactly. They won't admit it but this is a rebuilding year - which is pretty sad, considering this league is built around parity (i.e. Chiefs/Panthers). As long as you have a solid QB, you should be competitive.

In our situation, even with a really good offense and efficient QB play - we have a historically bad defense that can't force any turnovers. Recipe for disaster.

I never knew we had so many fans of french decent. I'm not going to freak out over the 1st pre season game with a number of defensive players not in the game, not to mention no Romo, No Dez, No Witten and no Murray. It was a pre season game. Now you can go back to waving the white flag. lol

I feel the same way. I see the bottom falling out if we suffer any more injuries on the d-line. I see a defense that is lacking backup talent. I hope that the offense stays healthy and can score cause they are going to have to beat there own defense to win games this year.
