Look for Ray Lewis to be a Cowboy in about 3 weeks.

Why? Well, if you look at the Pacman suspension during the season, Jerry moved quickly to sign Roy Williams as news broke of Pacman's fate. In fact, if I recall correctly, both items were headliners on the same day.

So, I'm guessing right about now Jerry is looking to put a positive spin on this - therefore, look for Ray Lewis to be a Cowboy soon.

If Jerry does that, right or wrong, we won't be talking about Dan.

Lewis Says He Won't Give Ravens Hometown Discount

"I dont play less," Lewis told the NFL Network in Hawaii, where he will play in the Pro Bowl. "If you don't play less, you don't take less. That's just life."

Before this year, the Ravens had never allowed Lewis to enter the final year of a contract. It would mark the first time in Lewis 13-year career that he would reach free agency.

"The uncomfortable thing about me is that I'm even having this conversation," Lewis said. "With everything I've given to that city, I've always felt that this is one conversation that I would never have and didn't want to have."


Of course, this is mostly posturing on his part, but it does sound like he's a little jilted.

Ray is on the downside of his career, but his signing would take much of the attention off of Jerry and the real problems with the team.
