If Lee is out for the season

Because it seems an awful lot like a panic thread thus me saying that at this point without having seen a shoulderpad, all it is is an emotional experience. You get a lot of "8-8 is now 6-10" posts and everyone can pile on the pity party.

I am not bored. I am making an observation.

Panic wasn't part of my motivation at all. WIth Lee healthy I wasn't expecting this team to contend this year. I'm actually looking at this as a good thing...it will give the young guys a chance to develop and/or if they don't, it will force the Cowboys hand to up their insurance policy on Lee if not completely replace him all together. It's dissappointing sure...but seriously: How could one possibly expect this team to completely turn around what they did last year, based on the moves they were able to make and more importantly the moves they couldn't afford to make? Granted, it could happen...but in terms of odds, you have a better chance of finding a one ended stick.

I spoke too soon...I just used the restroom and found a one ended stick. So, you have a better chance of finding a one-ended stick not already attached to you.

Different strokes for different folks. There are people who are probably standing on ledge over this issue right now...no matter how much you try to reason with them, they will point to this day as the reason the Cowboys again dissappoint. For me, I was simply curious how many peoples expectations fell off the proverbial ledge as a result of this injury and how many peoples expectations are already flattened on the pavement like mine has been for the last few years.

The best thing the Cowboys can do is play clock control with a balanced offense. The less the defense is on the field, the better.

From what I've read on the board, there really aren't too many people suprised that it happened...just suprised when it happened.
