If looks could kill

Like who exactly? QB coach is usually someone who has played the position, you think Joe Montana is coming to coach for $100k?
I love it when people ask this question. I imagine there are good QB coaches out there with more experience training NFL QBs. They’re not all the same. I’m sure there are some better than a 30-something, crappy ex-backup QB, even if I can’t name them specifically. I’ll go out on that big limb and say we can get someone better than Kellen Moore.

Just because you can't name a QB coach doesn't mean its not important lol. That being said, I'm not blaming Moore for anything.

I will say this though. I can't name any QB coach but I do know Carson Wentz sure looked a lot better when he was being coached by John DeFillipo and Cousins looked a lot better being coached by Sean McVey. I just think you need someone in your QB's early stages whether its a QB coach, OC or Head Coach. No one can deny what McVey did for Cousins and what he's done for Goff. So yeah Kellen might be getting too much blame for Dak's flaws....good coaching has never failed a quarterback.

Garrett played the position. Alongside a HOF passer. He worked as a QB coach. Say what you want about his head coaching skills but I have to imagine he has a very good grasp of the mechanics of throwing a football and is working with his QB on improving those mechanics.

I don’t think it really makes a difference but we will find out after the season

Um, not being able to name a single QB coach absolutely speaks to its importance. If dak is undisciplined with his footwork then that’s on him. I’m quite sure he’s getting the coaching.
Just because you can't name a QB coach doesn't mean that young quarterbacks aren't getting proper coaching. The ones that are you know who's their coach. Carson Wentz QB Coach got a OC job because of his work with him and Sean McVey got a Head Coaching job because of his work with Cousins. Let's don't pretend like coaching doesn't factor into development. Blame your own ignorance if you don't know of any guys who excel at quarterback development. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

We better look to keep Cooper happy. Dak not hitting the deep balls are taking TDs away from a productive WR and he knows it. Did you see the look on his face after both times he was wide open and got missed badly? Need to work on deep ball Dakuracy in the off season methinks. The back shoulder when he should have thrown him into the inside was brutal.

That said I thought Dak was decent today. Couple of balls sailed, Cooper missed on two big ones, but Mrs. Beasley saved our (and Dak's) bacon at the end.

Yep saw that also....its called the Dez-Face....and we have seen the Beasley-Face....the locker room will be the start of Dak's final nail in his short NFL career....remember Pappy's word's here....

Decent?

ONE starter on the OL and a slew of new receivers, one of which was tossed THREE touchdowns........ what's "good" for you?

And I don't deny that. That's actually what I'm eluding to. Kellen Moore is the "QB Coach" but I'd be shocked if Garrett isn't the true QB coach here. He has a team to run of course but he's taking part in Dak's development. Now how good of a QB developer he is remains to be seen.

LOL Go to bed lol. How many accounts do you have on CZ?

Cooper was a head case in Oakland.

Look at the attitude, look at the drops.

If he’s not engaged, homeboy sucks rocks.

He mentally collapsed today

Another Dak-extinction coming soon :(.....lol....Dez where are you ?????

Only one and the mods can verify this to you is they so desire to do so.....you spend enough time here why don't you put your money where your mouth is and become a Zone Supporter .....just the right thing to do my brother....

I noticed the same on one long miss to Cooper.

Most yardage for Cooper in the last 3 games - 32.
5th in receiving yardage on the team today.

I assume that some of what's happening is that teams are choosing to double Cooper and take their chances on other players.

Yeah, and sometimes a guy just sucks at certain things. You heard Aikman say you have it or you don’t. So when are we going to blame dak for being dak? Has anyone outside of certain fans named the QB coach?

I actually don't even know what a Zone Supporter is. But if it would stop the trolling from posters like you I'm definitely down to do it.

Wow. All the back alley psychologists around here who know exactly what cooper is thinking at all times simply based on his face.

Of course you suck at certain things. But the things Dak is sucking at right now seem to be correctable and weren't there his first season.

Troll ???you are the KING of Trolls...selling a QB that doesn't exist in Big D.....Troll on man troll on....and ask Dak for a raise while your at it.....

I agree most QB did not become HOF QB at the start of their careers. It took a lot of work and dedication. Dak has things he needs to work on but I do see improvements in his game and think he will get better as long as he continue to dedicate himself
