What an absolutely ridiculous play. Plenty of time left and you picked up a huge chunk of yards - STEP OUT.

Absolutely absurd. He's a dumb player, cut him now.

He would be crucified here without a doubt.

Then you would have people respond by saying he has a ring and he's a pro bowler and top wr in the league

And rightfully so, what in the hell was he thinking? He just cost his team a chance at advancing to the NFC championship, may not have been a good chance, but it was a chance nonetheless.

Why blame Colston when Sean Peyton called the play. He was just doing his job even though it was a terrible throw.

Lulz... exactly

But Dallas also needs to cut Bryant because he sucks. Ask these guys

Guys, take off the goggles. Dez is the draft equivalent of the Roy Williams trade. Everyone else in the league sees this except you.

I do doubt the authenticity of the tweet, but are football people floating this idea of "terrible" and "disaster" yes they are.

Comments like this drive me NUTS! If he would be some "STAR" or have a "BREAK OUT CAREER" elsewhere, then best of luck to him. He has the perfect chance to do those things here! He just cant get out of his own way! Hes one Toss of his jersey at Garrett to be JUST like his cousin Antonio Bryant!

His numbers? Such as the number of times we see Romo yell "Dez!" after a busted play? Romo can't even look his way in big situations because he runs the wrong route too often. Age can't fix stupid.

Like I've said before, Dez is a fine #3 receiver.

The #1 ingredient to a successful WR is having the trust of his QB. No QB could trust #88 so he rarely gets looks. Jerry bought fools gold on this one.

13 catches and he doesn't break 100 yards. I don't know if I've ever seen such crappy production from a receiver. I'm being serious. And his drops are worthy of a benching. That kind of crappy production along with his boneheaded play is easily replaced.

No team would give up more than a 5th round pick for a very flawed and emotionally troubled player that doesn't have the ability to remember plays, drops passes, and has emotional tantrums. At best we might get another journeyman OL player back.

If Garrett had a brain and a pair, whihc he doesn't, he would start making Miles the number one option in the passing game. But if he would, I;m sure Jerry would over rule him.

Dez was the problem last night. I believe he'll be the problem in the future.

To turn the season, send a message ... cut him .. now! Just let him go.

Negatives

Can not run most routes
can not make most hot read adjustments at the line
drops balls at critical moments
not in great shape.
beats up his own mother

Positives

two TD punt returns. He seems to be real decent in that.

I think he is really over rated, I can't remember a cowboys player that was this over rated .

I wish they would trade Dez and get a good receiver. He sucks!

I would call the Jags and offer Dez for Larent Robinson and 2 late round draft picks!

No that's a players responsibility to understand the situation. Payton set them up for a better shot as the Hail Mary. Colston went Brett Favre out there and blew it.

Remember the Leon Lett debacle on Thanksgiving Day in 1993? Who didn't want him cut after that? I'll admit I did....and I'll also admit that I'm glad I don't get to make that call when my emotions are ruling over my head.

Did he really not know that you can't throw the ball forward twice in a play? That's getting to McNabb level of dumb.

So you're saying Colston told Sproles in the huddle he was gonna catch the ball then throw it across the field without anyone else knowing what was going on. Come on man, that play was all Sean Payton.

I didn't want him cut and neither did Johnson. Why would you want to cut a guy for a bad play unless that's all he does?

I agree. Some think Jimmy cut Curvin Richards for fumbling twice in the 1992 season finale. Richards was missing meetings, wasn't practicing hard and just had a poor attitude. None of those things applied to Lett at that time.

Jimmy said on his A FOOTBALL LIFE that he had different standards for different players. I don't remember who but he cut a guy for sleeping in a film session & he admitted he would never consider that with a star player of course.

Life isn't always fair in the NFL. ;)
