I know Pittsburgh is known to stick it out with a Head Coach. So I doubt he becomes available...but if he does....GO GET HIM. I know many will point to the last 2 seasons...but hey...I can point to the last 17+ seasons in Dallas. Mike Tomline will NOT have to worry about the organization not getting and/or keeping the roster talented because of MONEY. Pittsburgh does what Pittsburgh does...they let people walk when it is time to pay them...and they are reaping the results of those actions right now....that will not be the case in Dallas. What do you guys think?

I prefer Garrett. It will be interesting to see how much talk there ends up being about Tomlin's job this season. I think he survives, no matter what. There really are personnel issues in PIT right now.

Just curious. Why?

I doubt Pitt lets him go. I would be truly surprised. I don't think Ken Whisenhunt got a fair shake in AZ (they had no QB). I wouldn't mind him but this is only fantasy because we all know Jerry will hire the hottest name or a friend.

And Garrett is?

No one knows as of yet. I have a feeling that Garrett may be one of those coaches who ends up being a much better head coach for a different organization.

But IMO, Tomlin won't make much of a difference. I guess unless you feel this team is underachieving. I personally feel like our offense simply sucks. Garrett as a head coach hasn't been the problem.

I think he's a very good coach & a definite upgrade.

I doubt he's available though.

Cowher is though.

No way tomlin is terrible . We need a coach with a proven legacy
Is this a joke. Hasn't Tomlin been to 2 Super Bowls and won 1? Our head coach prior to Garrett had NEVER won a playoff game. And Garrett had never been anything more than a position coach when we hired him. I assume your post was sarcasm?

I doubt if Garrett would ever get another head coaching job.

He looks to be a career QB coach, if he wants to continue his coaching career.

I like Whisenhunt.

Jerry would probably go after a Jon Gruden. I was thinking about that while I watching MNF last night.

What has Garrett EVER done to warrant this much optimism? If he continues his .500 ways...why on EARTH would he deserve another shot anytime soon? He had ZERO track record when he got this job. And he has done little to show anyone he deserved this job!
