Quote me New England will not be in the Superbowl
Honestly, I thought Jacksonville had a major chance but forecasts have not looked like weather's gonna play a factor on Saturday and the Jags weren't all that impressive last week, specifically on offense. Garrard played poorly and its not a good sign when he's the leading rusher of the team when you got F. Taylor/Jones-Drew on the field. They only had 239 yards of offense and only one successful TD drive that started on their own side of the field. The only thing I can think is Garrard was nervous in his first playoff game and got it behind him cause as overrated as NE's D is, they're good at taking your strength and making you one sided. It's gonna be on Garrard shoulder to move the chains cause if not, NE is just gonna stack the box with 8 or 9 every play.
As for the Colts, I think they've gotten better in the passing game with Gonzales and Clark coming back and maybe Marvin will do the same, but they're lack of a running game lately isn't a good sign. Not to mention, Dwight Freeney was a major reason Brady played so poorly for 3 quarters last time and without him, I'm not so sure. And I'm not so sure Indy is a team built to win in Foxboro in January. I think if they were to play in a neutral indoor stadium tonight, Indy would win. But as poorly as the running game has been for both teams, NE has had a little more success.
