I am simply asking opinions here.If Romo turns into Derek Anderson which may be slowly happening, does JJ waste more time?Does JJ draft a QB?Does JJ stick with the current QB given the economic status?

No. 68 million reasons why he won't, nearly half of which is guaranteed. We're stuck.

I think we need to wait till the season ends to determine what's going on.But anyway,I wonder how an uncapped year would affect the decision making process.

If he loses 3-4 more games I'd imagine they bench him for Kitna but to be fair I'd say he needs 2 more seasons to reach maturity. Yeah he's gonna be 30 but he's only started for 2 seasons...

2010 should be an uncapped year. Dump salary and move on. Will take more than 2 years for him to reach maturity.

Just another thought on his maturity as a player and age.

Something else to consider is "if" they change coaching staffs and were to bring in a WCO type philosophy. Most WCO take 3 years to fully implement or fully understand the playbook if you will.In that scenario you're going to have a 33 yr. old quarterback.Being 33 years old before you fully understand an offensive philosophy is not good.

If he completely goes into the toilet this year, I'd imagine we'd have a complete overhaul of the coaching staff before we'd change QBs. He'd get one year with the new staff and if he didn't get any better, THEN we'd start looking for a replacement.

Agreed. I think Romo gets a chance with a new coach. If he's still crapping the stick, hes outta here.

As pointed out to me earlier, Romo has not started 50 games yet. I know he seems like he has been around longer than he has but he hasn't. With all of that said i'm a fan of bringing in another QB. It is never a bad idea to develop QB's. If one happens to be high on our draft board and available, pull the trigger.

We're stuck with the heartbreaker since Jerry jettisoned his payload in the offseason.

He had better, I doubt Stephen McGee is the answer if Romo continues to play like a donkey's butt.

:lmao:

not only is there zero possibility in that happening...it would be very short lived if it did....Kitna is no starter and isnt half what Romo is.....

And what good is that when Kitna turns the ball over more than Romo?

Oh... and he throws a lot less TDs too, to boot.

But hey.... he might throw the ball to Roi Willyamz more.

Agreed..............lets see how the guy looks with somebody besides Tecmo calling the plays.

If Gruden or Shanny cant help him play better........then he is done.

EDIT***I also want to see him play with some receivers that know how to line up correctly before the snap and actually run crisp routes. Laufenberg says our WRs are poor route runners, so we need to see how Romo plays throwing the ball to receivers who are not scrubs.

I guess nobody ever actually watched Kitna play. He was benched by an 0-16 team fellas.

Do you guys know how bad you have to play to get benched by a winless team???
