If this was possible would you do it?

1. Renegotiate Romo, Smith and Carr
2. Sign Suh and Hardy
3. Let Murray walk and trade up in the first giving up our 3rd rounder for Gordon
4. Resign Parnell and McClain

Why would we need to give up a 3rd. we may still get Gordon or Gurley later in the 1st, or someone else in the 2nd or 3rd.
No way give up a high draft pick.

I agree - do not give up the pick but I am absolutely on board with the OPs restructures and signings if they were doable.

Why in the world would we hold anything back the next three years?

Holy Moly, signing Suh AND Hardy would make this defense awesome. Those two would make the rest of the DL better. And I don't think you need to move up in the first round to get either Gordon or Gurley.......one of them will slide down to #27 . The draft is deep in defense and RB has become an afterthought in the NFL to most teams and they will certainly not draft RB at #1. .

But I don't think Dallas goes for both Suh and Hardy------only one may be possible. I'd be happy with one of them because I still wake up in a cold sweat thinking of the one legged Rodgers beating this defense.

We can restructure Romo. TSmith and Witten and get 24m.
Get a pay cut from Carr for 4m or June 1st cut him and save 8m
Sign either Suh or Hardy, draft the other position
I would sign Murray, but if not AD or a draft pick
Parnell and McClain should be easy. Free if Parnell leaves.

Yes except for 3. Don't trade up. Stand Pat and take the superior Gurley.

Also Carr is a paycut boy renegotiate.

I'd definitely renegotiate the 3, and get Dez on a longterm.

I would then sign Hardy, Murray and McCourty.

Draft Michael Bennett from OSU in the first and BPA in the next 3 rounds.

Love Suh but it aint gonna happen. He is getting too much money elsewhere. Hear the Dolphins and Raiders are offering huge money.

No chance in hell would I do that. Kicking the salary cap can down the road and paying retail for players outside the organization is a sure sign for disaster.

I like Bennett but he isn't first round talent my friend

You will probably have zero need to trade up for a RB in this draft.

No interest in hardy. No interest in trading draft picks. No interest in going to the bank of Romo again either. If suh fits in cap somehow with other restructures and pay cuts, and we can sign mclain or carter, and dez extension, have at it.

What the OP is suggesting would mess up the chemistry in the lockerroom. Winning free agency doesn't translate to winning on the field. Bring in the right pieces. I'm all for going all in for 2015. Suh and Gordon+DE in the draft would be a dream offseason for me.

Like others have said, don't give up the 3rd. I don't think you'd have to do that to get Gordon.

As much as I dislike Suh, he and Hardy would make that D-line ridiculous.

Everything but the Gordon part sounds good.

And it will be Free, not Parnell.

Nope. I'm all for making a move on a young pass rusher if one's available, because you have to have one and you have to pay them anyway. Other than that, though, I'd much rather use FA for filling holes and the draft for finding skilled players to develop. Not interested in rebuilding after Romo, either. Much rather spend some decent resources on a guy who's skilled enough to develop. Give me a team with good coaches and deep pockets that plays the odds and trusts itself to develop their own players.

I want to be good for a decade, and not just a year or two.
