Quick question. If he had concussion like symptoms, does that automatically mean he misses next week's game?

Hope not. McClain is exactly the kind of LB the Cowboys want in there against a bruiser like Lacy.

Nope. Means he has to go through the league's concussion protocol. It's possible to do that and still suit up next Sunday.

It shouldn't mean he automatically misses the next game. I love Ro's presence & physical nature. That said...he's not overly reliable as a player. Would consider drafting a guy like Denzel Perryman at the end of the 1st/earlier 2nd, and then possibly resign Durant & Carter.

I believe you have to be headache-free for 24 hours. It also comes into play whether or not he had a loss of consciousness and how long the wooziness lasted.

So he should have a shot of playing.

Were his symptoms possibly more related to his earlier illness but nausea, fatigue and dizziness are also symptoms of concussion? I can imagine it's difficult to distinguish and they operated under a 'better safe than sorry' protocol. I didn't see a clear instance of McClain taking a hit to the helmet.

I think it's possible. Sometimes the flu can have neurologic effects.
