If Romo doesn't turn the ball over we win. Simple as that

There corners are complete garbage, so Romo should have a field day.

Actually no team in the NFL has a strong secondary. All corners give receivers too much space which is why any team can have a good passing day. So that's why if a team doesn't get pressure from it's front defensive 4 then most likely the receivers will be wide open

I agree but if Romo is throwing INT's that puts more pressure on the defense.
The last 10 games that Romo has thrown an INT, our defense has allowed opposing QB an average 96.0 rating, which would rank 24th in the NFL.

The last 10 that Romo has NOT thrown a pick, our defense has allowed opposing QB an average 95.5 rating, which would rank 23rd in the NFL.

You guys think Tanner takes the load? I think if they give him a chance, he can do well in games. Too bad our change of pace guy is hurt too. Who is our RB tonight?

Regardless of the stats, Romo throwing a pick can't possibly help, so let's hope we have zero turnovers by anyone today.

Yes, and no fumbles. If we can do that, %100 of the game, we win!

The last 10 games that Romo did turn the ball over the Cowboys are 3-7.
The OP was saying the key to winning was Romo NOT turning it over.

Here are the last 10 games that Romo has not turned it over:
@SD L
STL W
NO L
PIT W
PHI W
@PHI W
@ATL L
@CAR W
NYG L
@AZ L

Thanks for answering the question I was about to ask.
He was only counting INT, not all turnovers. The last 10 games that Romo did turn the ball over, Dallas is 4-6 -- not 3-7.

They're 5-5 when he hasn't turned it over the last 10 games and prior to today they were 3-7 when he has turned it over. The Cowboys still have a better record when he doesn't turn the ball over. Go tabulate Romo's Dec/Jan games and see what the Cowboys record is when he has turned the ball over and when he hasn't turned it over. The only elimination game Romo has won in 7 tries he didn't suffer a turnover.

Surprised?

Absolutely. I thought their tackles would have a good game and they would make big plays on the ground which would open the middle up for the tight ends.

Really thought we would have a long day on defense. It was awesome to watch them dictate the pace of the game on defense.

Also it appeared we played some different defensive formations, the single high dimeish look with Heath playing center field was new.

I hope the defense has another one in them next week. We will need it.

5-5. Same as when he doesn't turn it over.
