If Teddy B. Does the Rodgers slide to 16, do you take him?

Not much question I would. But Jerry Jones won't.

I agree. We have big time needs in our front seven but a chance to get a possible athletic franchise QB with that pick with Romo taking the beating that he has over the years would be a no brainer IMO.

I doubt he slides that far down though. His pro day must have been horrendous.

Let's say there are no trade partners and he's the highest player available. I would in a heartbeat..

Great question. I would be very tempted, but it would depend on what defensive players that were still on the board.

Sounds like a no-brainer to me. I'd run to the podium with that pick. Romo has maybe two more years at best and we need a backup QB anyways.

I doubt he would fall that far. I'm sure the Eagles would work out a trade with someone before us for Bridgewater.

What is truly asinine is it anyone allows what happened in a Pro Day to downgrade him.

I was thinking the same thing but I think the reason he would slip at all would be to his pro day right? I think the kid is a solid person, very athletic and a potentially great QB. I would rather weigh all of his work in real game experience over his pro day but who am I to say?

Yes

Iisten to trade offers and if I get an insane offer I might take it but I would lean toward taking him

Guy has size, intangibles, ran a pro system, is mature, can move but is a passer first, was the top pick before seSon started and had a phenomenal season

What's not to like?

Great pro day - Jamarcus Russell

Bad pro day - Joe Montana

Yes. I run the card up with the pick.

I didn't even know they had pro-days back when Montana was coming out of ND?

Good point on Russell though - what a waste.

I think in today's league the teams have a tendency to over analyze these kids. I am a big proponent of how the kid played against top talent and what kind of person he is. Too many work out warriors that jumped up the draft board to turn out to be duds once the pads went on.

I'm not downgrading him because of his pro day... I saw him play and I came away unimpressed. He was outplayed by a freshman qb for goodness sake! How does that scream 1st rnd pick? He has a tiny frame. That means he can't really put on any meaningful weight.... I mean he is tiny! Have you seen his arms? He has a good arm but no better than most of the qb's in this class and he falls apart mentally under duress.

I heard he was very skinny. That's why some are shying away from him. Or so the smoke says.

Drew Brees had a horrible Pro Day workout as well.
